What VIP gives you

Current live perks:

  • 25% slower pet decay - your pets' hunger, happiness, and health drain 25% slower around the clock. This stacks with decay-reducing item buffs.
  • +2 daily game plays - every game with a daily limit of 2 or more gives you 2 extra plays per day. Single-play-per-day games are unchanged.
  • Faster Treasure Dig - dig every 40 minutes instead of 60.
  • 3,000 MPC monthly stipend - paid instantly when you subscribe, then again every month while your subscription is active.
  • Exclusive backgrounds - 4 epic VIP-only backgrounds (VIP Royal Crest, VIP Velvet Lounge, VIP Golden Penthouse, VIP Diamond Vault) usable on your pet cards and as your My Shop backdrop. They cannot be bought with coins and stay usable as long as VIP is active.
  • The MiroPass VIP lane - while a MiroPass season is running, holding VIP at any moment during the season permanently unlocks the VIP reward lane — a reward at every one of the pass's 50 levels — for that entire season. Trial and gifted months count, and the lane stays unlocked even if your membership ends mid-season.
  • Extra Expedition capacity - 3 pets on Expeditions at once instead of 2, and each pet can run 4 expeditions per day instead of 3.
  • Bigger Findley watchlist - Findley watches 25 items for you instead of 10. Slots bought with a Findley's Watch Ticket stack on top of this, so VIP always keeps its lead.
  • 50% off Miroseum display fees - exhibit items in The Miroseum at half the usual fee.
  • 50% off Safety Deposit Box rent - private item storage at the Bank for 50% less every period.
  • 5 Match Market runs a day - reprice your whole shop to the market 5 times a day instead of 2.
  • VIP badge - a gold star on your avatar in the site header, a gold VIP tag beside your name in chat, and the exclusive VIP Sparkle charm the moment you subscribe.
  • A shout-out from Captain Cove - the Treasure Trove's captain welcomes every new VIP in Global Chat: when you start the free trial, when you join, when a trial becomes a full membership, when someone gifts you VIP, and again at 3, 6 and 12 paid months (then every full year). He never says what anyone paid, and ordinary monthly renewals are not announced. Prefer to keep your membership quiet? Untick Show VIP Badge in Account Settings and he will never name you.
  • VIP emotes - 5 chat emotes only VIP members can use (:vip:, :crown:, :gem:, :fancy:, :star:), including a gold VIP badge. They have their own row in the Global Chat emote picker and work anywhere emotes do - see Global Chat for the pictures.

VIP does not change how many pets you can own or how big your backpack is - those limits grow the same way for every player, up to 250 pets and 2,500 backpack slots. See Adoption Center and Backpack and Items.

The 14-day free trial

If you have never had VIP or a trial before, you can start a 14-day free trial from the VIP page at any time - and your 3,000 MPC stipend is paid the day you start. Once you have been playing for a few days, MiroPets may also remind you about the trial: a small note on your Dashboard, and the occasional one-line tip when you run into a limit VIP would raise (like using up a game's daily plays or filling your Findley watchlist). Those reminders are easy to dismiss and never interrupt play - the trial stays available from the VIP page for as long as you have never used it. You are not charged until the trial ends, then it renews at $3.99/month unless cancelled. Used the wrong card? Changing it does not affect your trial at all - the free days are attached to your membership, not to the card, so press Manage Billing on /account/vip and swap it. Do not cancel and subscribe again to fix a card: it is one trial per account for good, so the new subscription would charge you straight away with no free days. You will not be caught out by that: we will remind you three days before the trial converts, by message and email, naming the date and the price. That gives you time to check your payment method still works, or to cancel and pay nothing at all. Like the other billing notices, the reminder cannot be switched off in Notification Settings.

Billing and cancelling

  • Subscribe and cancel on the same page: /account/vip.
  • Changing your card - press Manage Billing on /account/vip. That opens our payment provider's secure billing page, where you can add a new card, set which card is charged, remove an old one, and download every invoice and receipt. Card details are handled entirely by the payment provider and never reach MiroPets.
  • Cancelling keeps all perks until the end of your current trial or billing period - nothing is cut off early.
  • Deleting your MiroPets account also cancels your subscription immediately, so you are never billed for an account that no longer exists. See Account Settings.
  • The stipend arrives once per calendar month; if a renewal payment fails, it is retried automatically before your membership ends.
  • If a payment is declined, we will send you a message and an email telling you what happened and when the next attempt will be, so you have time to update your card before anything lapses. Update your payment details from /account/vip. Because it is a billing notice it cannot be switched off in Notification Settings.

One note to avoid confusion: the Hotel has a room tier called "VIP room" - that is a hotel booking option anyone can pay for, not part of this membership.

The Community VIP Goal

The Community VIP Goal is a shared weekly push: if 15 players become VIP within the 7-day window, every player who was active that week gets the reward on the goal card — VIP or not. Right now that reward is an Epic Chest (an ornate chest glowing with promise. Open it for 1-3 items - at least one epic guaranteed.). The card lives on your Dashboard and on the VIP page, showing the week number, how many new VIPs have joined so far, who joined most recently, and how long is left. For the first two days of a new week it carries a New goal tag so you can't miss that a fresh push has started.

How it counts:

  • Anything that makes someone a new VIP moves it: subscribing, starting the free trial, or gifting a month of VIP to a friend from their profile page.
  • Only new members count. A VIP renewing, or a gift to someone who is already VIP, does not add to the total.
  • Cancellations never move the bar backwards — once a new member has joined, that count stays.
  • Every new VIP during the week also gets a random epic item the moment they join, on top of the usual VIP welcome gifts. It arrives in your backpack with a message.

When the goal is reached, the card celebrates and your Epic Chest goes straight to your backpack the next time you open the Dashboard — you don't need to claim anything. Anyone who played during the week but doesn't come back before it ends still gets theirs once the week closes. If a week ends short of the goal, nothing is lost: the card simply makes way for the next push.

Is it worth it?

The stipend alone is 3,000 MPC per month for $3.99. On top of that, +2 plays on every multi-play game compounds into real daily coin income, and 25% slower decay means less spent on food and Vet visits. If you play daily, VIP pays for itself in coins before counting the exclusives.
