Ask Atlas
A private chat with Atlas: ask how anything works, check on your pets and your day, find items, and let him do small chores you confirm with a tap.
Ask Atlas is a private chat with Atlas, the reindeer trail guide who wrote this Wiki. Open it from the Community menu or at /atlas/. Unlike his one-line answers in Global Chat, here he can hold a real conversation, look things up for you, and check on your own pets.
What he can do
- Explain how things work. Ask about any feature and Atlas reads the Wiki article before answering, then links it under his reply so you can check.
- Check on your day. "What should I do today?" gets your Daily Hub progress, daily quests, which pets need care, how many plays you have left and whether an expedition is back.
- Check on your pets. Which pet is hungriest, how far a baby is from becoming an adult, when an egg hatches, a pet's favourite food.
- Find things. Where an item is in stock right now and for how much, what an item does, which page a feature lives on, what a species is.
- Check the market. What an item is worth right now, whether your shop is priced above your rivals, whether a Haggle Hut offer is fair, what is cooking in the Kitchen, ready in the Garden or hungry in the Aquarium, and how your den's rally is going.
- Small chores, with your say-so. Feed or play with a pet using something you already own, or care for every pet at once; collect a finished expedition; claim a Daily Hub or daily quest reward you have earned; switch your active pet; add an item to your Findley watchlist; flip a notification setting; or mark notifications read. Atlas sets up a card and nothing happens until you tap Confirm. Cards expire after a few minutes.
Under every reply you get up to three trail markers: links to the page or article he used. Tap one to go there.
Atlas uses the same MiroPets emotes as everyone else - a wave hello, a party for a hatch, a thumbs up after a tip - and so can you: type :) or lol in your question and it turns into the picture.
Where to find him
- The Ask Atlas page at /atlas/, from the Community menu. On a phone, tap Full screen to give the conversation the whole screen.
- The Ask Atlas button in Global Chat. Open the chat bubble on any page and tap Atlas in its header. The conversation opens in a panel without leaving where you are, and Atlas knows which page you are on, so "how does this work?" is enough.
- Other keepers pitch in. Open that panel in the Kitchen and Sous answers; in the Gym it is Coach Roary; in the Garden, Rooty. They read from Atlas's guides and can check on your pets the same way. It is the same conversation, just a different voice.
- Atlas may drop you a note. At most once a day, and only when something is waiting: an expedition back for over an hour, or several pets under the care line. Turn these off under Pets & Care in your notification settings.
What he will not do
Atlas never buys, sells, lists, trades, adopts, releases, hatches, plays games, gambles, sends mail or chat, or spends MPC for you. Those are the game, and they stay in your hands. He will point you to the right page instead.
Limits
- Free players get 30 questions a day; VIP members get 100. The count resets at midnight MPT.
- Out of questions? The Ask Atlas Ticket (1,500 MPC, rare, from the Ticket Counter) adds 20 more for the day. One ticket per day.
- Atlas reads the Wiki and your own game data. If neither has the answer he says so and offers a Wiki search instead of guessing. He can still be wrong; the Wiki article he links has the last word.
- Use the thumbs under a reply to tell us when he got something wrong. That feedback is how the Wiki gets better.
Privacy
Ask Atlas is a conversation between you and the game, not a chat room; nobody else can read it. Please do not share personal details with him (he will politely refuse them). Conversation text is kept for 30 days to help improve his answers, then deleted.
