Den Treasure
Rowan asks your den for an item every 2 hours. Fill enough requests in a week and everyone who helped claims a treasure chest.
Den Treasure is the reason to open your den every day. Rowan posts a request for a random item, anyone in the den can fill it, and the requests your den fills across the week build toward chests that everyone who helped can claim.
This feature came from a player suggestion on the Roadmap.
Where to find it
- Open your den at /dens/ — the Den Treasure card is right on the den page.
Rowan's request
- A new request appears every 2 hours. The request card shows an Ends in countdown so the den can see how long it has to find the item before Rowan moves on.
- Rowan asks for a common or rare item - never anything epic or legendary, because handing over your best item is not a community goal.
- Bigger dens are asked for more copies: roughly one more for every 12 active members, up to four.
- Any member can donate from their backpack or their own shop. Several people can chip in on the same request. Each copy you donate gives your active pet 25 XP.
- Copies listed in your shop count too - Rowan simply takes them off the shelf when you donate. Only copies locked in a pending trade are out of reach.
- If a request is not filled before the next one is due, it lapses and Rowan moves on.
- You do not have to be on the den page to notice. The Dens page opens with a card for each of your dens, and Rowan's open request for that den sits right on its card - what item, how many he still needs, how many you have in your backpack or shop, and when the request ends. A request you can fill shows an amber Donate button; one you cannot shows View instead. Dens with an open request are listed first and framed in amber; the ones you can fill right now come before the rest with a bolder border. Either way the row links straight to that den's treasure chest. The card also flags new board topics, quests ready to claim, and any chest you have not opened yet. When a request is fillable right now, the Den entry in the Pets menu also says You can help in amber. There is no badge for a request you cannot fill - a den nearly always has one open, so it would never switch off.
The weekly meter
Every request your den fills adds one to the week's meter. The meter resets each Sunday, the same as weekly quests, so every den starts fresh. Each milestone the den reaches in a week also earns it one den point toward its next den level, and those never reset.
| Milestone | Chest | Contents | Bonus |
|---|---|---|---|
| 15 filled requests | Bronze Cache | 2 items | 2,000 MPC |
| 30 filled requests | Silver Cache | 3 items | 5,000 MPC |
| 50 filled requests | Gold Hoard | 4 items | 12,000 MPC |
| 65 filled requests | Rowan's Vault | 6 items | 30,000 MPC |
Milestones sit at 15, 30, 50 and 65 filled requests.
Claiming a chest
- You must have filled at least one request that week to claim anything. Turning up at the end and collecting other people's work does not earn a chest.
- Every member who contributed can claim each milestone the den reached - chests are not shared out or split.
- Each chest can only be opened once per player per milestone.
- Higher tiers roll more items, and every chest is guaranteed at least one rare or better.
- Opening a chest shows you exactly what came out of it - every item, its rarity, and the MPC bonus - before it all goes into your backpack.
- Claiming a chest also earns your active pet 25 XP on top of the contents.
Tips
- Cheap common items fill most requests. Keep a few spare food and toy items rather than selling everything.
- Check the This Week's Helpers list on the Den Treasure card to see who is carrying the den.
- A request only needs a handful of copies, so a small den can keep pace with a large one if everyone checks in.
- The meter resets weekly, so a run of filled requests late in the week still counts.
