Trick-or-Treat Week
Trick-or-Treat Week (October 19th to October 31st): knock on MiroHome doors for candy, fill your Candy Bowl, earn Treat Bag prizes and leave secret Boo Buckets.
From October 19th to October 31st, every MiroHome has a Candy Bowl by its front door. Fill yours with candy for the neighbors, knock on other players' doors for treats, and collect prizes in your Treat Bag. Fenwick the werewolf hosts it all on Trick-or-Treat Street.
Where to find it
- Direct link: Trick-or-Treat Street
- On any player's MiroHome page, the Candy Bowl panel sits under the room. You can knock right there.
- Menu: Pets → Trick-or-Treat for the whole event.
- Your own Candy Bowl is also on Pets → Home, with a button to fill it.
- In MiroTown, Willowmere houses with candy in their bowl have a glowing pumpkin on the doorstep. Walk up and tap Enter to go knock.
- Your dashboard shows a Trick-or-Treat card all week, and the Pets → Home menu entry says (Treats) while your own bowl is empty and you have candy to put in it.
Knocking on doors
- You can knock on any open MiroHome once a day. Trick-or-Treat Street shows 12 doors at a time, with full bowls first. Tap Show me more doors for another 12, or knock on a friend's door from their home page.
- Treat: if the bowl has candy, one random piece goes into your backpack. A bowl with lots of commons and one epic gives the epic about as often as you would expect from counting the pieces.
- Trick: if the bowl is empty, a friendly ghost plays a harmless trick on you. You lose nothing, and the ghost follows you home and haunts your own MiroHome for 60 minutes. Anyone who visits your home sees it.
- Tricks and treats both count toward your Treat Bag.
- You need a free backpack slot to take a treat.
Your Candy Bowl
- Fill it on Trick-or-Treat Street with candy from your backpack: any of the 30 candies from the Candy Vending Machine. The bowl holds 50 pieces.
- Putting candy in takes it out of your backpack. Take back returns it at any time.
- You earn 25 MPC for every treat you hand out, up to 500 MPC a day. Treats taken by accounts younger than 14 days don't pay.
- When your bowl runs out, you get a message so you can refill it.
- When the event ends, any candy left in your bowl goes back to your backpack by itself.
- The Most generous homes board on Trick-or-Treat Street ranks players by treats handed out.
The Treat Bag
Your Treat Bag counts the different homes you knock on during the event. Each home counts once, however many days you knock there, and up to 5 new homes a day go in your bag. Keep knocking past that for treats and tricks; a door that didn't count today counts if you knock on it again another day. Trick-or-Treat Street shows how many new homes you've added today. Prizes at 5, 15, 30 and 50 homes:
| Homes | Prize |
|---|---|
| 5 | 3 candies + 500 MPC |
| 15 | Trick-or-Treat Pail |
| 30 | Haunted Porch Pumpkin |
| 50 | Night Knocker charm + 5,000 MPC |
- The Trick-or-Treat Pail is an epic wearable for the Pet Wardrobe. Your pet wears it on a ribbon around its neck.
- The Haunted Porch Pumpkin is epic furniture for a MiroHome Backyard. It glows.
- Neither is ever sold in a shop. Prizes arrive in your backpack straight away, and coins go straight to your balance.
- A home only counts when its owner's account is at least 14 days old and they have played in the last 30 days. Knocking on a newer home still gives you the treat or trick.
Boo Buckets
A Boo Bucket is a secret gift. Visit anyone's MiroHome and tap Leave a Boo Bucket by their Candy Bowl.
- Put in 1 to 3 items from your backpack. Each item can be worth up to 2,000 MPC, and it has to be something you could trade.
- You can leave 3 Boo Buckets a day, and one per home for the whole event.
- The player who gets it opens it on Trick-or-Treat Street and gets one guess at who sent it. Guess right and you both get a piece of candy, and the sender is revealed.
- Every sender is revealed after the event ends. Buckets nobody opens are delivered to the backpack 6 days after the close.
- To leave a Boo Bucket you need to be able to trade (verified email and the trading level), and your account must be at least 14 days old.
Good habits
- Knock first thing each day. Your first 5 new doors each day go in your Treat Bag, so a few doors a day reaches 50 before the event ends.
- Candy you get knocking can go straight back into your own bowl, and every treat you hand out pays.
- Keep a slot free in your backpack so a treat never bounces.
