About
A virtual pet world, made by people who grew up on them
MiroPets is a free browser game where you adopt an egg, raise it into a pet with a personality, and build a life around it: games, shops, dens, expeditions, a home, and a whole town to explore.
What MiroPets is
Every player starts with a nest and an egg. The egg hatches into a baby, the baby grows into an adult, and along the way it gets hungry, gets bored, learns to read, trains at the gym, and picks a favourite food. Keeping a pet happy is the heart of the game, and everything else feeds back into it.
Around that core sits a small world. There are 49 mini-games from quick arcade rounds to multiplayer arenas, NPC shops and a player market, an auction house and a stock exchange, a kitchen, a garden, an aquarium, and a boarding hotel. Players team up in dens for shared quests, chat in real time, write in the message board, and read the in-game newspaper.
We launched in December 2025 and add something new most weeks. The newspaper records every update, and the wiki explains how each part works.
Meet the cast
The world is run by a roster of characters who each look after one corner of it. You will meet them in chat, in the shops, and in the newspaper.
The owl who knows which shop has what. Ask Findley and he flies you straight to the shelf.
Keeper of the player guide. Atlas answers questions in Global Chat and has read every article.
Runs the Treasure Trove and cheers on every new VIP from the deck of his ship.
Charts the expedition routes and welcomes your pets back at camp with the day's haul.
Looks after the dens, where players team up for quests, chat, and shared rewards.
Head chef of the Kitchen. Hands out recipe clues and judges every dish you cook.
Restocks the Claw Machine and never tells you what is inside the mystery capsules.
Directs the Clips studio, turning big moments in the game into short animated films.
Built for families
- Every account gives a birthdate before play. Players under 13 get a restricted account: no mail, no chat, no message board, and no advertising.
- Global chat, comments, and the board run through one moderation engine with a two-strike system, plus a guard that blocks personal details from being shared.
- Anyone can report a player or a post from the footer of every page, and reports go to a human.
- Our privacy policy and community rules are written in plain language.
Free to play, no catch
Everything in the game can be earned by playing. Coins come from games, quests, and the market, and every pet, item, and area is reachable without spending money.
Players who want to support the game can take out an optional VIP membership, which adds convenience perks and a monthly stipend. It never gates a pet or a game behind a paywall.
There is a wiki with 129 player-written guides, and a character called Atlas in Global Chat who will answer questions about how things work.
Who makes it
MiroPets is made by Kling Media, a small independent studio. It started as a love letter to the pet sites many of us grew up with, and a wish for one that was still being actively built, still free, and safe enough to hand to a younger sibling.
Being small means the people who read your feedback are the same people who ship the fix. Feature requests are voted on by players on the roadmap, and the most-requested ones get built next.
