1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using MiroPets, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

MiroPets is a free-to-play virtual pet game where users can:

• Adopt and care for virtual pets
• Play mini-games to earn virtual currency (MPC)
• Buy and sell items in shops
• Interact with other players through messaging and trading
• Participate in a virtual stock market
• And more!

3. Account Registration

To use MiroPets, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Provide your true birthdate when prompted (this cannot be changed later)
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Not share your account with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Age Requirements and COPPA Compliance

MiroPets is committed to protecting the privacy and safety of younger users in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

• All users are required to provide their birthdate upon first login
• Users under 13 may use MiroPets but will have restricted access to communication features
• The following features are not available for users under 13:
  • Sending or replying to Mail messages
  • Global Chat
  • Den Chat
  • Posting or replying on the Message Board
• Users under 13 can still receive system notifications, play games, adopt pets, trade items, and access all other game features
• Providing a false birthdate is a violation of these Terms of Service and may result in account termination

5. Virtual Currency and Items

MiroPets uses virtual currency called MPC (MiroPets Coins). You understand that:

• Virtual currency and items have no real-world monetary value
• Virtual currency and items cannot be exchanged for real money
• We reserve the right to modify, adjust, or reset virtual economies as needed
• Virtual items and currency are licensed to you, not sold

6. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use offensive, inappropriate, or harassing language
• Exploit bugs, glitches, or game mechanics unfairly
• Use automated scripts, bots, or third-party tools
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the service
• Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages
• Sell, trade, or transfer accounts for real money
• Impersonate staff members or other users
• Share inappropriate content or links

7. User-Generated Content

When you create content on MiroPets (such as pet names, messages, or ideas), you:

• Retain ownership of your original content
• Grant us a license to display and use it within the game
• Are responsible for ensuring it doesn't violate any laws or rights
• Agree we may remove content that violates these terms

8. Intellectual Property

All MiroPets content, including but not limited to graphics, artwork, game mechanics, and code, is owned by MiroPets or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your virtual currency, items, and pets will be permanently deleted.

10. Service Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of MiroPets at any time. We will try to provide notice of significant changes, but are not obligated to do so.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

MiroPets is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MiroPets shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of MiroPets after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
