The Treasure Trove is MiroPets' premium shop, run by Captain Cove — a pirate capybara who guards the best haul on the site. Unlike every other shop, it takes real money (USD) instead of MPC, and everything is delivered instantly to your account after checkout.

Where to find it

Legendary Mystery Egg

The headline of the Trove: a gold-crowned egg for $3.99 that hatches into a random Legendary pet — Chrome, Gold, Stained Glass, Opal, or one of the new Obsidian pets from the September MiroPass. Which one is inside stays a mystery until the egg opens.

What you get:

  • A free pet slot. Your pet limit goes up by one the moment payment completes, so the egg never needs a slot you have to buy.
  • A 15-minute nest included. Right after paying you name the egg and settle it into its nest — exactly like adopting from the Adoption Center. If you own a faster nest (Leafnest, Greenest, Rainest) you can spend that instead for the quicker hatch and XP head start; the included nest costs nothing and is never consumed.
  • Naming rules are the usual ones: 3-16 characters, lowercase letters and numbers, unique across MiroPets, permanent.
  • Closed the page before naming? Nothing is lost. A paid-for egg that has not been named yet waits for you: the Treasure Trove page and your account dashboard both show a card with a button to name it, and it only starts hatching once it has a name.
  • It does not touch your 12-hour adoption cooldown.

The egg is sold one at a time with Buy Now — it opens secure checkout directly instead of going through the cart. VIP members pay the usual 25% less ($2.99).

Your first egg at the VIP price: if you are not a VIP and have never bought a Mystery Egg before, your first one is $2.99 too — the egg card says so when it applies. The $1.00 theme pick is still added on top, and every egg after the first is full price unless you join VIP.

Choose your theme: for $1.00 more ($4.99, or $3.99 for VIPs) you can pick Chrome, Gold, Stained Glass, Opal or Obsidian on the egg card and the egg is guaranteed to hatch from that theme. Leave it on Surprise me and it is a true random roll of the whole Legendary pool at the odds printed on the page.

Never a duplicate: whichever way you buy, the egg skips any Legendary you already own or already have waiting inside an unhatched Mystery Egg, so every hatch is new to your family — unless you own that theme's whole set, in which case it rolls the full theme. The egg card shows your collection — how many of the pool's Legendaries you have overall and per theme (pets in your family plus any waiting inside an unhatched egg) — so you can see exactly how much is left to collect.

Earned eggs: the Griffin Trials hand out the same egg, pinned to Opal or Obsidian, to anyone who climbs all 50 levels of a patron's ladder - once per patron. It is named on the patron's page and hatches like a bought egg.

Opal bonus (past): the first 15 eggs sold at launch, and a second batch of 10 on August 24, 2026, were guaranteed to hatch Opal. Both batches sold out; choosing Opal is now available every day through the theme pick instead.

Coin Bundles

  • Coin Pouch - $10.00 for 10,000 MPC.
  • Coin Sack - $25.00 for 35,000 MPC (30,000 plus a 5,000 bonus).
  • Coin Chest - $50.00 for 100,000 MPC (75,000 plus a 25,000 bonus).

Bigger bundles give a better rate per dollar: the Pouch works out to 1,000 MPC per dollar, the Sack 1,400, and the Chest 2,000.

Captain's Bargain Shelf

Captain Cove stocks a shelf of the game's most sought-after items at a flat $5.00 each. Stock is genuinely limited - the "X left" counter is global across all players, and when an item sells out it stays gone until the Captain restocks. Currently on the shelf:

  • Pet Permit — adds one extra pet slot, the most traded item on the site.
  • Queen Bee Ticket — stands in for any single item the Queen Bee asks for during her quest, normally 10,000 MPC in-game.
  • Apex Potential Potion — grants one pet 2,000 XP on the spot, normally 12,000 MPC in-game.
  • Rooty's Seed Sampler — $7.99 (the one shelf item not at the flat price): a crate holding one packet of every seed the Garden grows, all 16 of them, common to epic. Open it from your Backpack and the packets land in your seed stash. Bought one at a time the same seeds cost 15,995 MPC, and the epic packets sell out minutes after every hourly restock.

The shelf rotates: items are swapped out when they stop selling, so a bargain you see today may not be there next month. The legendary Chrome, Gold and Stained Glass Vials sold here in the past are no longer stocked.

Item purchases go to your Backpack, so you need enough free Backpack slots for everything in your cart - the cart warns you and blocks checkout if you don't.

VIP discount

VIP members automatically pay 25% less on every Treasure Trove product — coin bundles, the Legendary Mystery Egg and items alike. The discount is applied to the prices you see while you shop and again at checkout; no code needed.

How checkout works

  • Add products to your cart, then check out with a card via secure payment processing.
  • Coins and items are credited the moment payment completes.
  • All sales are final - digital purchases are not refundable.
  • The available-slot count next to your cart tells you exactly how much Backpack room you have before you pay.

Is it worth it?

Everything in MiroPets is earnable for free - the Trove is a shortcut, not a requirement. Before buying coins, know what you would spend them on: the Bank, Auctions, and Stock Market are all coin sinks with real payoff, while day-to-day pet care is cheap. The bargain shelf is the standout: a Pet Permit or Apex Potential Potion costs a fraction of what the same item fetches from other players. Also compare with VIP Membership, which includes a monthly coin stipend among its perks.
