14 NPC shops restock every hour on the hour with 21 randomly stocked items each - 80% common, 15% rare, 5% epic.

The Shops district is where NPCs sell items for MPC. Every shop restocks on a fixed schedule, so knowing when and where to look matters more than luck.

Where to find it

The 18 NPC shops

  • Food Emporium - hot meals, ready-to-eat dishes, and pet-branded snacks like Goldiefish Crackers and the Honeybear Honey Squeeze.
  • Grocery Store - fresh produce, pantry staples, and Kitchen ingredients.
  • Sweet Tooth Bakery - pastries and sweet treats. Home of the Fortune Cookie, which cheers a pet up and reveals a fortune. Autumn bakes like the Baked Apple Crumble Cup (260 MPC) and the rare Cranberry Brie Tart (460 MPC) live here too.
  • Toy Chest - toys for happiness.
  • Healing Hut - medicine for sick pets, plus a comforting bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup.
  • Nesting Nook - egg care and hatching items.
  • Potion Parlor - elixirs, XP boosters, and potions.
  • The Dusty Tome - books.
  • Arena Armory - Commander Rex stocks battle potions, wands, and charms for the Pet Arena.
  • Ticket Counter - tickets for extra game plays, gym passes, extra Kitchen cooks, the Queen Bee Ticket, and the Den Charter that founds a den in place of the 10,000 MPC fee.
  • Corner Store and Odds & Ends Outlet - a bit of everything.
  • RARE Finds - a curated rotation of rare items (the Wishing Well Luck Potion appears here).
  • EPIC Only - epic items exclusively.
  • The Aquarium Shop - Gill the shark sells bagged fish, Fish Flakes, Fish Nests and Coral Fish Nests, decorations, coloured gravel, tank lights and backdrops for The Aquarium. Like every NPC shop he restocks hourly, so a bare shelf means sold out for now, not gone.
  • Rooty's Garden Shed - seeds, sprinklers, pest control and garden decorations for The Garden, from Rooty the bunny.
  • Boa's Boutique - Boa the snake stocks accessories for the Wardrobe.
  • Sports Outlet - sporty toys and gear.
  • The Overflow - where the extra stock ends up: a mixed shelf of the town's most-wanted items (upgrades and passes, rare and epic seeds, Kitchen staples, books, potions), restocked fresh every hour. When something is sold out everywhere else, check here.

How restocking works

Current live settings:

  • Every shop clears out and restocks at the top of every hour.
  • Each restock stocks 21 items per shop, drawn randomly from that shop's item pool.
  • Each stocked slot rolls rarity: 80% common, 15% rare, 5% epic. The same item can be drawn more than once, giving it multiple units in stock.
  • Stock is shared by all players, first come first served. The "X left" badge on each item is live.

Because rare and epic rolls are uncommon, a specific rare item will not be in stock most hours. That is exactly what Findley's watchlist is for - he sends you a message the moment a watched item restocks.

The strip at the top of the Shops page picks 6 items at random from what the NPC shops have in stock right now, limited to rare, epic and legendary items plus anything added to the game in the last 3 days (those carry a NEW tag). One more rule: an item only qualifies if no player is selling it - the moment someone lists it in their Player Shop, it drops out of Featured Finds until the listings sell out. So a Featured Find is, at that moment, something you can only get from an NPC shop. If fewer than 6 items qualify, the remaining slots show the most recently added items in NPC stock instead. Click a card and the shop opens with that item at the front of the shelf.

Player shops

Below the NPC shops you'll find Player Shops - four featured stores run by other players with their own prices. Some of those slots are won in the Featured Shops Auction (see My Shop) and are marked with a gold border; the rest rotate through shops that currently have stock. NPC shop pages even show you when a player is selling the same item cheaper than the NPC price, so check those callouts before buying. You can open your own store too - see My Shop.

Landing on an item

Whenever MiroPets links you to a particular item for sale - a Findley alert, a New Items or Shop Deals card on your dashboard, a search result, the Item Catalog, a ticket link from the Games Center, a recipe book from the Kitchen - the shop opens with that item moved to the front of the shelf and outlined in a cyan ring, with a small "You're here for this" tag on the card. Links from Findley tag it "Findley match" instead. The page scrolls the card into view if it would otherwise sit below the fold. The rest of the shelf keeps its normal order.

This works the same way in NPC shops, player shops, and the Swap Swamp. If the item has sold out since the link was made, you still land on the right shop - it just has no card to ring.

Good habits

  • Shop right after the top of the hour for the widest selection.
  • Watch hard-to-find items with Findley instead of refreshing RARE Finds all day.
  • Compare NPC price, player listings, and Auctions before paying for anything rare - the cheapest source changes constantly.
  • Grab free food from the Pantry before buying basic food.
