Wardrobe
Dress your pets in accessories - how giving, equipping, and the custom artwork for each pet-and-accessory pairing works.
The Wardrobe is where you dress your pets. Accessory items - hats, glasses, scarves and the like - can be given to a pet and worn, and the pet's picture is redrawn wearing them everywhere it appears on the site.

- From a pet: the Wardrobe card on a pet's care page (My Pets, then the pet) shows everything in its wardrobe with the pieces it is wearing highlighted. Tap a piece or Open Wardrobe to jump straight in with that pet selected.
- Accessories are items with the pet accessory effect. They come from Shops, Auctions, prizes, and events.
- Your first visit to the Wardrobe comes with a welcome gift: a free Starter Bandana, so every new stylist can dress a pet right away.
- A few are earned, never sold — the Park Regular Tee goes to any pet that reaches its 100th Pet Park visit.
Giving an accessory to a pet
Accessories start in your Backpack. Giving one to a pet moves the item from your backpack into that pet's personal wardrobe. Change your mind whenever you like: any piece can be returned from a pet's wardrobe to your backpack, free, and then sold, traded, or given to a different pet.
The first accessory you give a pet each day also earns that pet 10 XP.
Rules to know:
- Eggs cannot wear accessories. Wait until the pet hatches.
- A pet cannot be given the same accessory twice — the Wardrobe marks those pieces in your inventory as already in that pet's wardrobe.
- Copies listed in your shop cannot be given away - unlist them first.
- If you want the same accessory on two pets at the same time, you need two copies. A single copy can still move from pet to pet by returning it to your backpack in between.
Wearing a look
A pet can wear up to 6 accessories at once — one for each spot: head, face, body, neck, paws and back. Trying on a piece for a spot that is already taken swaps it in; take any single piece off from the slot rail under the preview, or take everything off to go back to the plain look. What the pet is wearing shows on its pet page, in your pet list, on your profile, and anywhere else the pet appears.
The first time a particular species, life stage, and combination of accessories comes together, the artwork is generated fresh and takes a minute or two. Each extra layer is fitted on top of the look Boa already made, so adding one more piece is usually a single fitting. After that it is cached, so equipping that combination is instant for you and for everyone else who tries it.
Each player gets 15 fresh fittings a day (reset at midnight MPT). The Wardrobe page shows Your Fittings Left Today, and once they are used Boa won't take another new fitting until tomorrow — already-fitted looks always go on instantly. See Pet Wardrobe for what counts as a fitting.
Because babies and adults are drawn separately, a pet that grows up gets new artwork the first time it wears an accessory as an adult.
Good habits
- Not sure an accessory suits a pet? Return it to your backpack and try it on another - nothing is locked in.
- Keep spare copies of accessories you like in your backpack rather than giving them all away; they hold their value on the market.
- Equipping an accessory counts toward quest progress, so it is worth doing at least once.
Best Dressed — the weekly contest
Best Dressed is its own weekly game at /games/best-dressed: a fresh runway every week, 3 paid votes a day, and coin prizes plus wearable trophies (the Best Dressed Crown and Runway Rosette — never sold, only won) for the most-voted looks.
- Enter from here or from the contest page: with a pet selected and an accessory on, press Feature in Best Dressed. The entry is a snapshot of the look at that moment — press Update photo to refresh it. Up to 3 of your pets can be on the runway each week; the button shows how many slots you have used.
- The contest resets every Sunday at midnight (MPT); entries and votes clear with it, so re-enter your pet each week.
