The Aquarium
Your own fish tank: collect and care for fish, decorate, and complete the Fish Collection.
Give your pets a pet! The Aquarium is your own fish tank: collect fish, keep them fed and the water clean, decorate the tank, and fill out your Fish Collection log. Fish are a relaxing side hobby — your main pets always come first — but a thriving tank pays your active pet back every day.

- Fish and supplies are sold at the Aquarium Shop, run by Gill — a shark who gives you his word he has never once eaten the merchandise.
Getting started
Your first tank is the Starter Bowl — a one-time purchase of 5,000 MPC on the Aquarium page. It holds 3 fish and 2 decorations. When you outgrow it:
- Small Tank — 15,000 MPC, holds 6 fish and 4 decorations.
- Large Tank — 40,000 MPC, holds 10 fish and 6 decorations.
Upgrades go one tier at a time and keep all your fish and decor.
Fish come in bags
Every fish you buy, catch or trade arrives as a bagged fish in your Backpack — a water-filled travel bag, just like a real pet shop. Bagged fish are ordinary items: you can sell them in your shop, auction them, or hold onto them.
Adding a bagged fish to your tank makes it yours for good: it swims, gets a nickname if you like (click any fish in the tank), and counts toward your collection. Fish in the tank cannot currently be re-bagged, so add the ones you want to keep and trade the rest while they're still in the bag. The Add to Tank button is on the Aquarium page and right on the fish in your Backpack.
Getting fish
- The Aquarium Shop stocks common and rare fish on the hourly restock, plus Fish Flakes and decorations. Findley can watch specific fish for you.
- The Fishing Pond — every successful (non-miss) catch has about a 6% chance of also hooking a keeper: a bagged fish added to your backpack. The better the catch you reeled in, the better the keeper can be — epic and legendary aquarium fish are only found this way, and hooking the Legendary Whale gives you the best odds of a legendary keeper.
- Other players — bagged fish can be bought from player shops and auctions like any other item.
The Fish Collection
There are 31 fish species to discover: 16 common, 9 rare, 4 epic and 2 legendary. The collection log on the Aquarium page shows every species you've discovered (a fish is discovered the first time it swims in your tank) and a mystery card for every one you haven't — with a hint about where it comes from.
Caring for your fish
Fish never die in MiroPets — but a neglected tank is a gloomy one, and only a well-kept tank gives out bonuses.
- Feeding — one pinch of Fish Flakes feeds the whole tank for 24 hours. Use flakes from your backpack, or the Feed button will buy a pinch on the spot for 50 MPC. Hungry fish turn pale and mopey.
- Cleaning — the water slowly gets murky over about 4 days. The Clean Tank button is free and instant.
- A tank that is both fed and clean is thriving — and that's when the good stuff happens.
Pet Visits
Once a day, the Pet Visit button lets your active pet watch the fish in a thriving tank for a happiness boost. It's the whole point of a pet having a pet.
Decorations
The Aquarium Shop sells plants, corals, castles and sunken treasures. Place them from your backpack into your tank's decor slots (each tank tier has more slots); removing one returns it to your backpack.
