The Garden
Grow crops from seeds, keep them watered, and harvest food for your pets.
Grow your own food! The Garden is a grid of soil plots: plant seeds from Rooty's Garden Shed, keep them watered, deal with the occasional garden pest, and harvest real crops — food you can feed straight to your pets, sell, or cook with in the Kitchen. Some of MiroPets' fanciest dishes have been waiting for these ingredients all along.
Where to find it
- Direct link: /garden/ (also under the Pets menu)
- Seeds and supplies are sold at Rooty's Garden Shed — run by Rooty, the bunny who'd rather grow a garden than raid one.
Garden sizes
Your first garden is the Sprout Patch (5,000 MPC). Upgrades go one size at a time and keep everything you've planted.
| Garden | Grid | Plots | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sprout Patch | 2x2 | 4 | 5,000 MPC |
| Cottage Garden | 3x3 | 9 | 15,000 MPC |
| Grand Garden | 4x4 | 16 | 40,000 MPC |
| Miro Meadow | 5x5 | 25 | 100,000 MPC |
Each plot holds one plant. More plots means more growing at once.
Planting and growing
Tap any empty plot to plant a seed from your backpack (planting includes the first watering). Every crop has its own growing time and harvest size:

| Cucumber | Common | 8 hours | 3+ | Lv 1 | 185 MPC |
| Ember Pepper | Common | 8 hours | 3+ | Lv 1 | 195 MPC |
| Tomato | Common | 8 hours | 3+ | Lv 1 | 220 MPC |
| Strawberry | Common | 8 hours | 3+ | Lv 1 | 200 MPC |
| Blueberries | Common | 8 hours | 3+ | Lv 1 | 175 MPC |
| Sweet Pumpkin | Common | 8 hours | 3+ | Lv 1 | 230 MPC |
| Sunberry | Rare | 24 hours | 4+ | Lv 3 | 500 MPC |
| Glimmer Corn | Rare | 24 hours | 4+ | Lv 3 | 540 MPC |
| Moonberry | Rare | 24 hours | 4+ | Lv 3 | 560 MPC |
| Starfruit | Rare | 24 hours | 4+ | Lv 3 | 550 MPC |
| Cloudberry | Rare | 24 hours | 4+ | Lv 3 | 530 MPC |
| Moonmelon | Epic | 3 days | 5+ | Lv 6 | 1,300 MPC |
| Phoenix Pepper | Epic | 3 days | 5+ | Lv 6 | 1,450 MPC |
| Crownberry | Epic | 7 days | 6+ | Lv 10 | 5,000 MPC |
| Starbloom | Epic | 7 days | 6+ | Lv 10 | 4,200 MPC |
Not sure what to plant? The Mystery Seed Packet (1,200 MPC, rare, at the Shed and RARE Finds) opens from your backpack into a random seed — half the time a common, a good chance of a rare, and about one in seven an epic. Green Thumb level still decides whether you can plant what you get. Want the whole shelf in one go? Rooty's Seed Sampler ($7.99, Treasure Trove) opens into one packet of every seed the Shed grows, all 16; packets above your Green Thumb level simply wait in your Backpack until you can plant them.
Grow times count watered time — a thirsty plant simply pauses. Plants never die in MiroPets gardens; the worst that happens to a dry plot is that it stops growing until you come back.
Watering
One watering keeps a plot growing for 24 hours, so a daily visit keeps everything moving. The Water Garden button is free and waters every plot at once.
Going away for the weekend? The Sprinkler (500 MPC at the Shed) waters the whole garden automatically for 3 days.
Rooty's Rain Barrel (12,000 MPC, epic, at the Shed) buys time instead of water: tip it over your garden and every growing plot jumps 4 hours ahead, and the beds are left watered for the day. Ripe, troubled and empty plots are skipped, and the barrel refuses to pour (and isn't used up) when nothing is growing. Use it from your backpack or with the Rain Barrel button in the garden.
VIP perk — VIP members can claim a free 24-hour sprinkler in their garden every 3 days. It doesn't stack up while you're away — stop by, tap the claim button, and enjoy a hands-free day.
Garden trouble
Each plant faces a couple of small trouble checks while it grows (about a 10% chance each). Three things can show up:
- Tangleweeds — scraggly weeds. Pull them for free with a tap.
- Chompergrubs — hungry little bugs. A spritz of Bug-Be-Gone Spray clears them — one bottle (500 MPC) holds 10 sprays.
- Gloomspore — a gloomy fungus. A dose of Spore Tonic cures it — one bottle (350 MPC) holds 5 doses.
A troubled plant pauses growing until you help it, and that's usually the whole story. Only a trouble ignored for more than 48 hours costs anything: that harvest comes up one crop short (it never drops below one).
Want fewer visits from trouble? Place a Scarecrow in your garden to lower the odds, and a Garden Gnome to lower them further — both are one-time purchases at the Shed.
Harvesting and the Green Thumb
When a plant is ripe, its plot glows — tap it and harvest, or press the golden Harvest all button under the bed to bring in every ripe plot at once. Harvest all is the same as tapping each plot in turn: every plot keeps its own yield, perfect-tending bonus and Green Thumb XP, and ripe plots with trouble are left for you to clear first. Crops land in your Backpack as ordinary food items.
- A perfectly tended plant — kept watered nearly the whole way, troubles fixed promptly — grows one bonus crop.
- Every harvest earns Green Thumb XP (longer-growing crops give more). Higher Green Thumb levels unlock rarer seeds: rare seeds at Lv 3, epic at Lv 6, and the week-long Crownberry and Starbloom at Lv 10.
- Green Thumb keeps going to Lv 20. Every level past 10 makes your crops grow 2% faster (up to 20% at Lv 20), Lv 15 adds a fourth daily order from Rooty, and Lv 20 unlocks Seed Saver — a perfectly tended harvest has a 20% chance to hand the seed packet back.
- Your active pet cheers you on: every harvest gives them a little XP too.
- Bring in an epic or legendary crop and Rooty may celebrate your harvest by name in Global Chat.
- Garden work counts toward quests: daily quests can ask you to water the garden or bring in a harvest, and dens have a weekly Green Thumbs quest for plots harvested together.
- In a den? Crops you harvest yourself can be donated to your den's weekly Harvest Rally — hit the goal together and Rooty pays contributors more than the crops were worth.
Rooty's Orders
Every day at midnight MPT Rooty pins 3 crop orders to your garden's board (four once you reach Green Thumb Lv 15), each asking for a few of a crop you can already grow. Deliver from your backpack and Rooty pays the crops' full catalog value — twice what a shop buys them for — plus Green Thumb XP, and about 40% of the time he throws in a seed packet of the same rarity. Orders stay up for a day and a half, then come down; fresh ones appear the next day. Rooty only takes crops you harvested yourself — copies bought from a shop or traded from another player don't count, and crops you've already donated to a Harvest Rally are spent. Listed or trade-locked crops don't count either.
Decorations
Rooty's Garden Shed also sells purely decorative pieces — a Picket Fence, Stone Lanterns, a Flower Border, a Birdbath and a Koi Pond. Place one from your backpack and it stays in your garden for good, shown to everyone who visits your public garden page. Each piece has its own spot on the lawn: the fence runs along the back and the front of the bed with a little gate in the middle, the lanterns stand either side of the gate, the flower border runs along the front of the soil, the birdbath and koi pond sit at the back corners, the scarecrow watches from the back and the gnome keeps an eye on the front. They don't change how anything grows; they're for making the place yours.
Garden helpers
Logged-in visitors to your public garden can water one plot a day for you — tap any growing plot on someone's garden page to keep it watered for another 12 hours (it never pushes a plot past two days of water). Rooty tips helpers 25 MPC, and the gardener gets a note the first time someone helps each day, with all of the day's helpers listed under the bed.
Notifications
Rooty sends a bell notification (and a push, if you've enabled them) when crops are ready to harvest, and another when plots have been thirsty for a few hours. Each fires once per episode — harvesting or watering resets it. Turn either off under Garden updates in Notification Settings; the "somebody watered your garden" note is its own switch under Community.
What crops are for
- Feed them to your pets — every food crop restores hunger, and the fancier ones do more than that.
- Cook with them — the Kitchen has published recipes that pair two crops with one shop ingredient, plus secret ones that call for garden crops. If a famous dish is named after a fruit nobody had ever seen... now you know where it grows.
- Sell or trade them — crops are ordinary items, so player shops, auctions and trades all work.
Good habits
- Water once a day — right after harvesting is a natural moment.
- Match seeds to your schedule: quick crops for busy days, long-growing legendaries before a normal week.
- Fix trouble the day you see it and the yield never suffers.
- Keep a spray and a tonic in your backpack so trouble never waits on a shop restock.
Show off your garden
Every garden has a public page at miropets.com/garden/your-username — visitors can see your plots growing, your guardians and decorations, and what's ripening — and logged-in visitors can water one plot a day for you (see Garden helpers above). A garden card also appears on your profile. Who can see it follows your profile visibility setting.
