The Pantry hands out free pet food every hour, stocked by the game and by generous players. It is the cheapest way to keep your pets fed - it costs nothing.

How claims work
Current live settings:
- The Pantry restocks 12 free common food items at the top of every hour.
- You can claim 1 item per hour. The limit resets when the Pantry restocks, so a claim at 3:55 and another at 4:01 both count.
- Stock is first come, first served - popular items disappear fast.
- You need a free Backpack slot to claim.
Donated items sit alongside the free stock and are often better: donations can be any rarity, while the hourly stock is always common.
Claim streaks and the Golden Hour
Two bonuses can add a second free item to your claim:
- Pantry streak: claiming on consecutive days builds a streak. Each streak day adds a 3% chance that your claim includes a bonus food item, capped at 30% from day 10 onward. Miss a day and the streak restarts at day 1.
- Golden Hour: one hour every day (always between 8 AM and 9 PM MiroPets Time - the Pantry page shows today's hour), every claim comes with a guaranteed bonus item.
The bonus item is always a random common food, and you need a second free Backpack slot to receive it.
Donating food
You can donate any item that restores hunger from your Backpack. Donated items stay in the Pantry for 24 hours and do not vanish at the hourly restock. Donating a rare or better food item alerts players who opted into Pantry notifications, so good donations get claimed quickly. Your first donation also earns the Pantry Pal charm.
Good habits
- Claim every day, even a mediocre item - the streak bonus is worth more than any single claim.
- Check the page for today's Golden Hour and time one of your claims into it for the guaranteed double.
- Visit early in the hour for the best selection, and always keep two Backpack slots open so a bonus item is never wasted.
- Donate surplus food instead of letting it clutter your Backpack.
