The Werewolf Potion is a Legendary Halloween potion. Use it on any adult pet, of any species, and under the full moon it becomes a Legendary werewolf - a whole new species. It is sold in the Treasure Trove during October 2026 only.
Where to get it
- Treasure Trove, real money: $4.99 ($3.74 for VIP members).
- On sale until October 31 at 11:59 PM MPT. After that it leaves the Trove for good.
- It is never sold in NPC shops, never a quest or game reward, and never in any egg.
- Potions you buy in October keep working forever. They can also be traded or sold to other players in the Haggle Hut and Auctions.
The 10 werewolves
Lunaclaw, Plaidfang, Emberhowl, Ghowlst, Howlacula, Hexhowl, Candyfang, Wrapfang, Bonehowl and Scarewolf.
Every werewolf is Legendary. They never appear in the Adoption Center, and no egg hatches one - the potion is the only way a werewolf is made.
Using it
- Open your Backpack and use the Werewolf Potion.
- Pick an adult pet. Eggs, babies and pets that are already werewolves are greyed out.
- Press Transform twice - the second press confirms, because it is permanent.
- Your pet howls at the moon and you meet your new werewolf.
- Always one you don't have yet. The potion picks at random from the werewolves you don't own right now, each equally likely. With none of them yet, that's 1 in 10 each.
- Once you own all 10, the potion won't work (it is not used up), and the Treasure Trove won't sell you another.
- A werewolf you get in a trade counts as owned too.
What changes, and what stays
- Changes: your pet's look and its species - it is a Werewolf now. This is the one item in the game that changes a pet's species.
- Stays: its name, level, XP, stats, Intelligence, favorite food and history.
- Wearables come off; they stay in its wardrobe and you can dress the werewolf again in the Wardrobe.
- It is permanent. No vial recolours a werewolf, and nothing turns one back into a baby.
