Pet Glossary
A permanent, searchable guide to every pet species and theme in the game - unlocked once by buying the 750 MPC Pet Glossary item.
The Pet Glossary is the in-game encyclopedia of every pet in MiroPets. Each entry shows all three life stages side by side, so you can see exactly what an egg will grow into before you adopt it.

How to unlock it
- Item: Pet Glossary (book, rare)
- Shop price: 750 MPC
- Buy one, open your Backpack, press Use on it and read it to any pet. That permanently unlocks the glossary for your whole account - it is a one-time purchase, not a consumable you need again.
The item rotates through the stock of three shops: The Dusty Tome, the Odds & Ends Outlet, and RARE Finds. Shops restock hourly from their item pools, so it is not always on the shelf. If you visit the glossary while it is out of stock everywhere, the locked page shows current stock across NPC shops, player shops, and auctions - and lets you add it to Findley's watchlist so the owl notifies you the moment it restocks.
What each entry shows
Every pet card displays:
- Egg, baby, and adult artwork side by side - click any stage to view it full size.
- Pet name and species.
- Rarity badge (common, rare, epic, or legendary).
- The pet's description.
The page header shows live totals by rarity. The collection currently spans 1235 pets across 35 species and dozens of color themes, and new sets are added regularly - the header counts always reflect what exists right now.
Now in the Adoption Center
The first page of the glossary opens with a Now in the Adoption Center strip: every egg currently sitting on the Adoption Center board, shown as a full glossary card so you can see what each one hatches and grows into before you spend a nest. A Visit the Adoption Center button takes you straight to the board.
- The strip only appears on the unfiltered first page. As soon as you search or filter, it steps aside so your results come first.
- Anywhere in the grid, a pet that is on the board right now carries an orange In the Adoption Center now bar across the top of its card. The bar is a link to the board.
- Mystery Eggs never appear in the strip or get the bar - what is inside one stays a surprise until it hatches.
- The board rotates as players adopt from it and it restocks, so the strip changes through the day.
Color themes and how to get one
Every pet is one species in one color theme - a Glimmergoat is the Shiny Goat, a Lovepeng is the Love Penguin. The Color theme filter above shows every pet in a theme.
- A pet's species almost never changes. No item turns a Goat into a Penguin. The one exception is the Werewolf Potion: it turns an adult pet of any species into a werewolf.
- A pet's color theme can change, for good, with a transformation vial: the pet becomes that theme's form of its own species. The vial's picker shows the before and after first. Full rules are under Transformation vials in Item Effects.

A pet that is not in the Adoption Center rotation is not gone - it just cannot be hatched from the board right now. Findley and the rehoming boards are where to look.
Search and filters
The filter bar narrows the grid by:
- Name search
- Species (all 35)
- Rarity
- Color theme
Results are paginated 24 to a page, and active filters show a match count with a one-click Clear filters link.
