Pet Dash is an endless runner where your active pet sprints through a park across three lanes, dodging obstacles and grabbing coins. Runs get faster the longer you survive, and your pet's species gives it a unique passive ability.

How a run works

  • Your pet runs automatically and speeds up over time.
  • Switch lanes with the up and down arrow keys (or W and S). On mobile, swipe up or down.
  • Jump over low obstacles (bushes and barrels) with the spacebar, or tap on mobile.
  • Stone walls and crates cannot be jumped - change lanes to avoid them.
  • Hitting an obstacle costs a life. When your last life goes, you get one free second wind per run - take it within a few seconds and you keep running with a short burst of invulnerability.
  • Every 1,000m is a milestone: a banner celebrates it and every coin you grab from then on is worth more.
  • Squeezing narrowly past an obstacle counts as a near miss and earns bonus coins.
  • The deeper you run, the trickier it gets: barrels that switch lanes appear after 1,500m, double stone walls that block two lanes after 2,500m, and diving birds after 4,000m. The scenery shifts from meadow to forest to dusk as you go.
  • You get 5 plays per day (VIP members get 7).

Species abilities

Every species has a passive ability that is active automatically while that pet runs:

  • Double Jump (Bird, Eagle, Dragon, Bee, Owl, Flamingo, Kangaroo) - jump a second time in mid-air.
  • Extra Life (Cat, Bear, Tiger, Wolf, Elephant, Horse, Turtle) - start every run with 2 lives.
  • Coin Magnet (Dog, Bunny, Fox, Squirrel, Reindeer) - a wider coin pickup range.
  • Speed Resist (Alligator, Lizard, Snake, Shark, Koi, Frog, Goat) - the run speeds up 20% slower.
  • Lucky Drops (Axolotl, Otter, Penguin) - power-ups appear about 25% more often.

If you have no active pet at home, Bluppy the loaner dog fills in - but only your own active pet earns XP and happiness from runs.

Power-ups

  • Magnet - pulls in coins from nearby lanes for 5 seconds.
  • Shield - absorbs one obstacle hit.
  • Speed Boost - run 50% faster for 3 seconds, and coins collected are worth double.
  • Slow-Mo - halves the game speed for 4 seconds.
  • Ghost - pass straight through obstacles for 3 seconds.
  • 2x Coins - coins collected are worth double for 8 seconds.

Rewards

  • Distance pays 1 MPC per 100m.
  • Each coin you grab starts at 1 MPC and rises by half an MPC per 1,000m milestone, up to 3 MPC past 4,000m. Speed Boost and 2x Coins double a coin's value at pickup.
  • Near misses pay 1 MPC each, up to 25 MPC per run.
  • Every run pays between 10 and 500 MPC in total.
  • Playing daily builds a streak worth +5% coins per day, up to +50%. Every 7th day of the streak, that day's run is free and does not use up a play.
  • Your active pet earns XP and happiness from every run.
  • The daily leaderboard ranks the longest runs of the day, and the all-time record holds The Golden Sprint trophy in the Trophy Case.

Good habits

  1. Run with the species whose ability fits your style - Extra Life is the most forgiving for new players.
  2. Play at least one run every day to keep the streak bonus growing.
  3. Stay in the middle lane when the path is clear so you can dodge in either direction.
  4. Save your jump for obstacles you cannot dodge - a mistimed jump into a stone wall still ends the run.
