MiroPass is MiroPets' monthly seasonal reward pass. Every point of XP you actually earn during a season — from games, quests, items, expeditions, and everything else, counted after boosts and care modifiers — also fills one shared 50-level season meter, and every level you reach unlocks rewards to claim. There is nothing extra to grind: just play, and the pass fills itself. The current season is the MiroPass: Obsidian Season, running September 1 – 30 (times MPT), and everyone gets the free lane automatically.

Where to find it

  • Direct link: /miropass/
  • Menu path: Activities — MiroPass (on phones the menu is labelled Play). The menu entry appears while a season is running.

Leveling up

The pass has 50 levels and each season starts the meter fresh at zero. Early levels come fast and the ladder steepens toward the end:

  • Levels 1–20: 500 XP each
  • Levels 21–40: 1000 XP each
  • Levels 41–50: 2000 XP each

Reaching Level 50 takes 50,000 XP in total over the month. That is a longer climb than Season 1's 20,000 — August's summit turned out to be a short walk for a lot of players, so the top is now meant to take the month. Because the meter counts your XP after boosts and care modifiers, XP boost items and well-cared-for pets fill it faster — see Pet Stats Explained for how care affects XP.

Beyond Level 50, the optional Prestige Path climbs to Level 75 — 150,000 total season XP. The free lane carries 10 more reward nodes (including the account-bound Obsidian Trailblazer charm at Level 73) and the VIP lane a reward at all 25 levels, including the exclusive Obsidian Sanctum pet card background and an Obsidian MiroHome furniture bundle. The summit prize at Level 75 is a surprise Griffin egg — a random Common variant of the brand-new Griffin species, revealed only when you claim it. VIP members claim both lanes, so VIP finishers also earn a second egg that is always Rare or Epic. A claimed egg waits until you name it and welcome it home (an open pet slot, no nest needed) and never expires — even after the season ends.

Past Level 75 the pass keeps going: the Bonus Vault (Levels 76–95) holds a chest at every level, free for everyone. Each Vault level costs more XP than the last (Level 76 takes 6,000 XP, and every level after adds 1,500 more), and every 5th Vault chest is Epic instead of Rare — the deeper you dig, the harder each chest is earned.

The two lanes

Every level has reward slots in up to two lanes:

  • Free lane — 20 of the 50 levels carry a free reward, ending with the Legendary Obsidian Vial at Level 50: the season's grand prize.
  • VIP lane — a reward at every one of the 50 levels: coins, chests, items, and season exclusives.

VIP members claim both lanes: every free reward and every VIP reward, at every level they reach — the VIP lane is added on top of the free lane, it does not replace it.

The VIP lane rule is generous on purpose: holding VIP membership at any moment during the season unlocks the VIP lane for the entire season, permanently. Free trials, gifted months, and promo days all count, and once unlocked it is never revoked — even if your membership ends mid-season, every VIP reward on the pass stays yours to earn and claim.

Season exclusives

  • Obsidian Keepsake (free Level 20) — a commemorative collectible.
  • Obsidian Trophy (VIP Level 10) — an exclusive collectible trophy.
  • Obsidian Hollow (VIP Level 20) — an exclusive pet card background that cannot be bought.
  • Legendary Obsidian Vial (free Level 50) — see below.

Chests

The Common Chest, Rare Chest, and Epic Chest return from Season 1. Open one from your backpack and it grants 1–3 random items straight into your inventory:

  • A Common Chest gives 1–3 common items.
  • A Rare Chest guarantees at least one rare item; any extra items are a 50/50 chance of rare or common.
  • An Epic Chest guarantees at least one epic item; extras roll 34/33/33 for epic, rare, or common.

Chests come only from MiroPass rewards — they are not sold in any shop.

Claiming rewards

Claim rewards on the MiroPass page as you level up — each unlocked level shows a claim button, and a badge on the menu entry reminds you when something is waiting. No pressure to log in on the last day, though: when the season ends, anything you earned but never claimed is delivered automatically to your backpack, coins, and charms, with a message letting you know.

Season charms

Two charms exist only on this season's pass:

  • Obsidian Seeker — reach free-lane Level 25.
  • Obsidian Champion — claim the VIP Level 50 reward.

Like all season content, they can only be unlocked while the season is running — once October arrives, they are gone for good.

The Obsidian Vial and the Obsidian pets

The Legendary Obsidian Vial is the free Level 50 grand prize: use it on a pet to transform it into its Obsidian variant — polished volcanic glass, black as a midnight lake, flashing violet and teal along every curve. There are 31 Obsidian species, all Legendary, and they never appear in the Adoption Center. Like all item rewards from the pass, the vial is tradeable — so a completed pass is valuable even if your pets are already dressed to perfection.

Obsidian pets can also hatch from the Treasure Trove's Legendary Mystery Egg, where Obsidian is one of the themes you can pick.

Past seasons

  • Season 1 — Stained Glass Season (August 2026): Level 50 at 20,000 XP, the Legendary Stained Glass Vial as the grand prize, and an optional Prestige Path to Level 75 rewarding a surprise Velumi egg. Prestige finishers were the first Velumi owners; since September 7, 2026 the Velumi also appears in the Adoption Center like any other species (29 adoptable variants - the Legendary Velumis stay out of the shelves). Its charms (Glass Gatherer, Stained Glass Champion, Prestige Trailblazer) can no longer be earned.

Good habits

  1. Play normally — every XP source feeds the pass, so your usual daily games and quests are already pass progress.
  2. Keep pets fed and happy before XP-heavy sessions: care modifiers change the XP you earn, and the pass counts the final number.
  3. If you are eyeing the VIP lane, any VIP time during September unlocks it for the whole season — the 14-day free trial counts.
  4. Save chests for when your backpack has room; each one opens into up to 3 items.
  5. The Potion Parlor stocks four potions made for the pass: the Slow Simmer Elixir (+20% XP on one pet for 24 hours), the Flask of Five Sips (5 sips of 400 XP), the Hearthglow Tonic (full restore plus 1,500 XP) and the Fortune Fizz (a lucky roll of 500 to 5,000 XP). Pop the Simmer first, then use the others under it. See Item Effects.
