Changing Your Pet's Color
Transformation vials permanently change a pet's color theme (its "morph") while keeping its species, name, level and stats. Every vial, its price and where to get it.
Yes, you can change your pet's color. A transformation vial turns a pet into a different color theme of its own species, for good - use a Rainbow Vial on a Red Penguin and it becomes a Rainbow Penguin. Its name, level, XP and stats all stay exactly the same; only its look (and the rarity of that look) changes.
Vials are sometimes called potions or paint by new players, and a pet's color form is sometimes called its "morph". They all mean the same thing here. (Fish morphs in the Aquarium are something different: those are hatched from Fish Nests.)
Where to find it
- Buy vials in the Potion Parlor (/shops/potion-parlor), RARE Finds and EPIC Only shops
- Search "Vial" in Findley to see every shop that has one in stock right now
- Use one from your Backpack: tap the vial, then Use
How to use a vial
- Open your Backpack and tap the vial.
- Pick the pet. The picker shows a before and after for every pet, so you see the new look before anything happens.
- Pets that cannot take this vial are grayed out: pets that are already that color, and pets whose species has no form of that color.
- Confirm a second time ("This is permanent") and the vial is used up.
Good to know
- It is permanent. There is no undo, and the old color does not come back - to change again you need another vial.
- The species never changes. No vial turns a Goat into a Penguin. Every one of the 35 regular species has a form for every vial below; Werewolves have none, so vials cannot be used on them.
- Wearables come off. The pet is undressed so the new form can be dressed again; the pieces stay in its wardrobe. See Pet Wardrobe.
- One vial, one pet. Each vial works once.
- Vials can be traded. Sell spares or buy missing ones in the Haggle Hut or at Auctions.

Shop vials restock with the shops, so a sold-out shop will have them again later - Findley can watch for one.
Colors with no vial
Some colors cannot be made with a vial on purpose:
- Common colors (Blue, Brown, Gray, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, White, Yellow) and Business, Chef, Twotone and Superhero - only from eggs in the Adoption Center.
- Love - limited events and special eggs only.
- Opal - Legendary Mystery Eggs only.
- Werewolf - only the Werewolf Potion, which is the one item that changes a pet's species.

Good habits
- Check the before and after in the picker - every species wears a color a little differently.
- Legendary vials only come from the MiroPass or other players - finishing Level 50 in a season is the cheapest way to get one.
