Every pet hatches with a secret favorite food. Discover it by feeding with variety: the favorite's effects are doubled and it grants +20 bonus happiness, every single time.
Every pet hatches with a secret favorite food — one specific dish they love more than anything else. Nobody tells you which one it is: the only way to find out is to keep trying different foods until your pet goes wild for one of them.
Discovering the favorite
- Your pet's page shows Favorite Food: ??? on the Pet Information card until you crack it.
- Feed your pet a variety of foods. The moment you serve the favorite, the reaction is unmistakable — a celebration pops up on the spot, a notification lands in your inbox so the moment is never lost, and the food is revealed on the pet page from then on, marked in the Feed grid too.
- Every pet's favorite is different, even pets of the same species — it's set randomly the moment they hatch.
- Favorites are always common foods sold in the food shops (roughly 50–500 MPC — currently 149 possible foods), so a favorite is never an expensive rarity. Swap notes with other players, or just feed with variety and let the surprise come.
- The easy way: Care for All. The Care for All button on your Pets page knows each pet's favorite even before you do — if the favorite is in your backpack, the plan picks it first for that pet and marks it with a pink Fav! tag. Press Feed & Care and the discovery celebration fires on the spot.
The bonus
Serving the favorite food is worth it every single time, not just the first:
- The food's normal effects are doubled — hunger, and any secondary happiness or health it restores.
- On top of that the pet gets +20 bonus happiness, clamped at 100 like everything else.
- The bonus applies even before you've discovered the favorite — that big reaction IS the discovery.
A modest 200 MPC snack that happens to be your pet's favorite outperforms fancy dishes costing several times more, so a discovered favorite quietly becomes the cheapest way to keep that pet fed and smiling.
Free Findley tracking
Once discovered, a favorite food can be watched on Findley for free — it never uses one of your watchlist slots. The discovery celebration offers a one-click Track on Findley button, and free favorite watches sit in their own Favorite Foods section on the watchlist page, each tagged with the pet that loves it. Findley then sends word whenever the food is in stock somewhere, so keeping the pantry topped up takes no effort at all.
Tips
- Buy a spread of different cheap commons from the Food Emporium, Grocery Store, Corner Store and Sweet Tooth Bakery instead of a stack of one food — every new food you try is a chance at the reveal. Then let Care for All do the serving: it reaches for a pet's favorite first whenever you own it, so a varied pantry plus one care pass can uncover several favorites at once.
- Happiness feeds your rewards: a 90%+ happy active companion earns +5% game coins (see Pet Stats Explained), and favorite feeds are the cheapest happiness in the game.
- Eating from a friend's fridge in MiroHomes counts too — if their fridge happens to stock your pet's favorite, the bonus (and the discovery) still fires.
- Older pets weren't left out: every pet already hatched has a favorite waiting to be found.
