Bubble Shooter

Climb 5 timed levels of bubble popping. Pop Score rewards big clusters, spare shots, and fast clears — and decides both the daily board and The Golden Popper GOAT trophy.

Bubble Shooter is a climb through 5 boards of bubbles, each bigger and busier than the last. Match 3 or more of a color to pop them, drop whole clusters by cutting them loose, and clear the board to move up a level. One number — your Pop Score — says how well the whole run went, and it is what both leaderboards rank.

Where to find it

How a run works

  • Aim with your mouse or finger; the dotted guide shows exactly where the shot will land, wall bounces included. Tap to shoot.
  • Match 3+ bubbles of one color to pop them. Anything left hanging with no connection to the ceiling falls — and falling bubbles are worth more than popped ones.
  • Tap the Next bubble (or the Swap button) to swap it with the one loaded — on a keyboard, press Space or X.
  • The level clock only runs while you are actually playing — it pauses during level intros and stops the moment your clearing shot fires.
  • Clear the board to advance. Each level adds rows, colors, and less time to think:

2542:0026
3552:3030every 9 shots
4652:4536every 8 shots
5663:0042every 7 shots
  • From level 3, the ceiling drops a new row of bubbles at a steady shot count — the drop column above. Let the pile reach the danger line and the run ends.
  • Out of time on a level, or bubbles past the danger line, ends the run — you keep everything scored so far. You can also press End Game to stop early and keep what you have; you never lose points by playing on.

Special bubbles

Two specials appear in your shooting queue (never on the board):

  • Rainbow bubble (level 2+): matches whatever color it lands next to, and always joins the biggest group it can find.
  • Bomb bubble (level 3+): blasts everything in the area where it lands — no color match needed.

Pop Score

Your run's score adds up four ways:

  • Popping: 2 points per bubble popped, 5 points per bubble dropped.
  • Level clears: 200 points times the level number — 200 for level 1 up to 1000 for level 5.
  • Shot efficiency: 15 points for every shot under the level's shot budget when you clear it.
  • Speed: 3 points for every full second left on the clock when you clear a level.

So the best runs pop in big clusters, clear with shots to spare, and do not dawdle. Coins are your Pop Score divided by 6 (up to 800 MPC a run, before any coin boosts).

Leaderboards

  • Top Pop Scores (daily, on the game page): the day's best runs, reset at midnight MPT.
  • The Golden Popper (GOAT trophy): the all-time highest Pop Score. The trophy race restarted on July 30, 2026 when Pop Score replaced the old bubbles-popped count, so the crown is up for grabs.

Tips

  1. Look for shots that cut a cluster off the ceiling — dropping five bubbles beats popping three.
  2. The dotted guide is exact. Use the walls to reach pockets you cannot shoot straight at.
  3. Do not sit on the swap: it is free, and the right color now beats a perfect plan later.
  4. Save bombs for the thick of the pile, and use rainbows to finish stubborn last pairs.
  5. On drop levels (3+), count your shots — pop something big before the next ceiling drop lands.
