Snake Snack

Sixty seconds of snake. Eggs pay 10 MPC, golden eggs 50, and combos multiply the lot.

Snake Snack is the classic snake game on a 60-second timer. Eat eggs, grow longer, and do not run into yourself. It is short by design — the clock, not your skill, usually ends the run.

What you earn

  • Ordinary eggs pay 10 MPC each.
  • Golden eggs pay a flat 50 MPC and are not multiplied by combos. They appear occasionally in place of a normal egg and vanish after about six seconds.
  • Eating eggs in quick succession chains a combo: three in a row doubles the value of each egg, six in a row triples it.
  • Survive the full minute and you take a +20 MPC bonus.

Payouts run from 5 to 250 MPC. Coin boosts and your active pet's happiness are applied on top of whatever you earn. A daily streak adds a further percentage — see Games.

Hazards

  • Rotten eggs start appearing after the first fifteen seconds. They're easy to spot: a cracked, splotchy grey-green egg with green ooze and flies buzzing over it — nothing like the clean eggs you're collecting. Eating one costs you two tail segments and breaks your combo.
  • Obstacles drop onto the board three times during the minute, so a route that was safe early may not be later.

Full screen

The board is a square, so on a phone it can only ever be as wide as your screen. The full-screen button at the right of the score row (next to the sound toggle) takes the board edge to edge and hides everything else, which is the biggest it can be on your device. On a desktop it fills the height of the window instead.

  • Swipes work anywhere in the board area, including the space above and below the square.
  • The results card and Play Again stay inside full screen, so you can go straight into the next run.
  • Leave with the same button, the Escape key, or your phone's back gesture. Snake Snack remembers your choice, so once you've turned it on it comes back on when you press Start Game next time.

Plays and your pet

  • You get 5 runs a day, reset at midnight MPT. VIP members get 7.
  • Your active pet earns 15 XP and +5 happiness per run.

Trophy

This game has an all-time record in The Trophy Case, held by whoever has the most points in a single run in a single run.

Good habits

  1. Chase the chain, not the egg. Three eggs eaten quickly are worth six eaten slowly.
  2. Always break the chain for a golden egg — 50 MPC beats any multiplier you were building.
  3. Play for the whole minute. The survival bonus is worth two eggs and needs only caution at the end.
