Pet Race

Back one of five real pets with a 10-100 MPC bet. Odds from their combat stats pay 2x-5x, five races a day, and your active pet earns XP from the stands.

Pet Race is the racetrack of the Games Center. Five adult pets from around MiroPets line up, you back one of them with a bet, and if your pick crosses the line first you collect a payout that scales with how unlikely the win was.

Where to find it

The field

  • Every race draws 5 racers at random from real adult pets across the site — one of your own pets can turn up in a race. When not enough adults are available, wild NPC racers fill the empty lanes.
  • Each racer's combined combat stats (Attack + Defense + HP) set its standing relative to the rest of the field, shown as an odds tier:
  • Favorite — the strongest of the field, pays 2x your bet.
  • Contender — pays 3x.
  • Underdog — pays 4x.
  • Longshot — the weakest, pays 5x.

Stats only give a small edge on the track — the running itself is full of luck and momentum swings, so Favorites get beaten and Longshots really do come home. That is what the 5x is for.

Placing a bet

  • Bets run 10 to 100 MPC, on exactly one racer per race.
  • Win and you are paid your bet times the odds — a 100 MPC bet on a Longshot returns 500 MPC. Lose and the bet is gone.
  • You get 5 races per day; VIP members get 2 extra.

Pet XP

Your active pet cheers from the stands and earns 10 XP per race — 20 XP when your pick wins.

Leaderboard and quests

  • The daily leaderboard ranks players by net winnings, with races won breaking ties. It resets at midnight MPT.
  • The Race Day daily quest counts races run, and payouts count toward coin-winning quests.

Good habits

  1. Treat bets as entertainment: as a group, bettors always lose a little to the odds. Cap it at coins you would happily spend on fun.
  2. On a Race Day quest, even a minimum 10 MPC bet counts — the quest reward usually covers the stake.
  3. The tier labels are relative to that race's field. Glance at the actual stats before backing a "Favorite" in a weak field.
