Reading Rally
Read books to your pets with your den each week — hit the shared goal and everyone who read to enough different pets wins a rare book.
Every week, each den gets a shared story-time goal: read books to your pets together. There is nothing to donate and nothing to buy in — every book any member reads to a pet counts the moment it happens. Hit the goal and every member who spread their reading across enough different pets wins a rare book.
Where to find it
- On your den's page, in the purple Reading Rally card: /dens/
- The card shows the den's total, your own reads this week, and how many different pets you have read to.
How a week works
- Sunday: every den with at least one active member gets this week's goal.
- All week: read books to your pets from a pet's Read to your pet section or the Backpack. Each read adds one to the den total, in every den you belong to.
- Goal reached: the rally finishes on the spot and the books go out.
- Sunday again: an unfinished rally is settled and a fresh goal takes over.
The goal scales with your members
The weekly target is 15 reads per active member (members who played in the last 7 days), capped at 900. A quiet den gets a small goal; a busy one gets a bigger one. Winning the rally also earns the den one den point toward its next den level.
Winning the book
When the den reaches its goal, the rare book goes to every member who read to at least 3 different pets that week. Two reads to the same pet count toward the den total but only once toward your pets. Reads past a pet's daily Intelligence cap still count as reads, so a big reading day is never wasted on the rally. The book lands in your backpack with a den message telling you which one you got.
Good habits
- Claim the free Little Library book every day and read it straight away — the Daily Hub's reading card walks you there.
- Rotate readers: the Story Circle daily quest and the rally both reward reading to different pets.
- Read early in the week so the den sees the meter move; a moving meter recruits readers.
