The Trail Grows: Steamvale, Bellwether and the Eventide Rift Are Open

Rigby has three new pins on the trailhead map tonight, and every one of them starts in the dirt. As of 6 pm MPT the Garden has three new seeds, the Kitchen has three new published recipes, and Expeditions has three new provisioned destinations — one for pets just starting out, one for the middle of the ladder, and a brand-new summit above Skyshard Isles.

The seeds. Rooty's Garden Shed now grows Sweet Potato Seeds (common, 8 hours), Thunder Plum Seeds (rare, a day in the ground, Green Thumb Lv 3) and Twilight Fig Seeds (epic, three days, Green Thumb Lv 6). They restock on the Shed's normal hourly rhythm alongside everything else, so check back if the shelf is bare. Sweet potatoes are also an ordinary grocery, and pets can take a liking to them.

The recipes. Each new crop is the star of a new provision dish at the Kitchen, all three published openly in the Recipe Book: Steamvale Potato Mash (two sweet potatoes and a butter stick), Highland Plum Oatcakes (two thunder plums and oatmeal) and the glowing Eventide Fig Feast (two twilight figs and a moonmelon). No shop sells any of them. You grow, you cook, you go.

The trailheads. Expeditions has three new provisioned destinations, and each one wants the dish that matches its tier:

• Steamvale Hot Springs (power ~60) is the first stop for any grown-up pet — a steamy valley of warm pools where capybaras, turtles, frogs and otters feel most at home. It needs a Steamvale Potato Mash.
• Bellwether Highlands (power ~400) sits between Celestial Spire and Moonlit Rooftops — wind-scoured alpine pastures loved by goats, wolves, eagles and horses. It needs Highland Plum Oatcakes.
• Eventide Rift (power ~650) is the new top of the ladder — a canyon at the edge of the map where day and night meet, loved by raccoons, Velumi, tigers and foxes. It needs an Eventide Fig Feast, and completing its Journal page pays 46,000 MPC, the biggest treasure reward on the map.

Like every provisioned destination, they pay better for their power than the rest of the ladder, the trailhead meal feeds your pet on the spot, and each hides four brand-new Journal treasures. With today's additions every species on MiroPets — capybaras, goats, raccoons and Velumi included — now has at least one destination that loves it.

One honest note on timing: the ladder runs common, rare, epic, and so do the growing times. Sweet potatoes come in tonight, thunder plums tomorrow evening, and the first twilight figs will not ripen until Thursday. The Rift opens when your figs do. Rain Barrels and a high Green Thumb level shave hours off, and a fig you grow this week is a Feast you can cook next week too.
