Hero Raids: Villains Are Attacking MiroTown!

Something is wrong in MiroTown. A beaker just exploded on Campus, a storm cloud is sulking over the fountain, and somebody is tiptoeing out of the Bank with two very heavy sacks.

Five villains have come to town, and MiroTown needs heroes.

How Hero Raids work

Three times a day, at 1:00 PM, 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM MPT, a villain attacks one of MiroTown's districts for 30 minutes. Your dashboard warns you 15 minutes ahead. When the raid starts, tap Suit up, pick a pet, and it walks into town in its Superhero form: crimson cape, violet mask and the hero crest. The costume is only for the fight. Your pet goes back to normal when you leave.

Everyone fights the same villain and every hit comes off one shared health bar. Stronger pets hit harder, so all that training at the Gym finally has a villain to land on. HP gives you more hearts and Defense shortens your stuns, so every stat counts. Watch the ground: red circles and lanes show where the villain is about to strike.

Meet the villains

• Doctor Mischief (Campus) lobs fizzing beakers that leave slime puddles behind.
• The Gloomcloud (Town Square) strikes three spots at once and brings a storm.
• Captain Crumble (Market Street) fires bolts down the street. Wait for his armor to drop!
• The Vault Bandit (Finance Corner) runs from heroes. Two of you have to corner him.
• Madame Mirror (Games Boardwalk) splits into three. Only one is real.

The same villain attacks all day, and they take turns day by day.

Rewards

Deal damage, earn Droplets: 300 damage earns your first one, and the harder you hit, the more you get. Beat the villain before time runs out and everyone who helped gets an extra Droplet plus a shot at that villain's signature item. The top hero always gets one.

Doctor Mischief's fizzing green beaker. Earned only in Hero Raids. In a raid it adds damage (and even more against The Vault Bandit); in the Pet Arena it leaves a slowing splash.

Bolt Launcher

Captain Crumble's chunky brass bolt launcher. Earned only in Hero Raids. In a raid it adds damage (and even more against Madame Mirror); in the Pet Arena it is a weapon.

Smoke Pouch

The Vault Bandit's getaway smoke. Earned only in Hero Raids. In a raid it adds damage (and even more against Captain Crumble); in the Pet Arena it hides you in a puff of smoke.

Mirror Shard

A sliver of Madame Mirror's magic mirror. Earned only in Hero Raids. In a raid it adds damage (and even more against The Gloomcloud); in the Pet Arena it reflects damage back.

Signature items only come from raids. Bring one into your next fight for extra damage, and bring the villain's weakness for even more. Each villain is weak to another villain's item, so you'll want them all (or a good trading partner). They work in the Pet Arena too.

Collect all five and you earn the Hero of MiroTown charm.
