Stat Treats Hit the Sports Outlet — Permanent Points, No Gym Required

Extra! Extra! Coach Roary has finally let something other than sweat build muscle. Stat Treats are here — four new foods that add a permanent point to an adult pet's combat stats, no Gym session required.

Three treats, three stats

The Sports Outlet now stocks one treat for each of the Gym's three stations:

  • Ironbite Jerky — +1 Attack
  • Shellcrunch Biscuit — +1 Defense
  • Heartroot Chew — +1 HP

Each is a rare food at 400 MPC (also turning up at RARE Finds). Use one on an adult pet from your Backpack and the point is yours for keeps.

The Champion's Feast

For pets with big ambitions there is the Champion's Feast — all three treats served on a gold winner's podium. One sitting gives +1 Attack, +1 Defense and +1 HP at once. It is an epic at 1,500 MPC, sold at the Sports Outlet and EPIC Only, and here is the clever part: it only counts as one treat toward the daily limit.

The rules of the buffet

  • Treats follow the same level cap as the Gym: a stat can never rise past 10x your pet's Pet Level. If a stat is already at its cap, the treat politely refuses and is not used up.
  • Each pet can eat 3 Stat Treats per day, counted across every kind. A Champion's Feast plus two singles is the biggest day a pet can have.
  • Adult pets only. Babies get plenty of snacks already.
  • Unlike the Gym, a treat works on a pet that is away — boarding at the Hotel, playing at the Park or off on an Expedition. It costs no session, no hunger and no health.

Should you skip the Gym now?

No. Point for point the Gym is still the cheaper way to build a champion, and it pays XP and streak bonuses on top. Treats are for the pet that has used its five sessions and still has room to grow, or the one you cannot get onto the floor today. Think of them as extra reps, not a shortcut.

Full details are on the Gym and Item Effects wiki pages. Now go feed something a jerky.
