Spider Solitaire is the long-form card puzzle: two full decks across 10 columns, and the goal is to build 8 complete runs from King down to Ace, each in a single suit. Choose how many suits are in the deck — one suit is a relaxed learn-the-ropes game, four suits is a genuine test of planning.

Where to find it

How to play

  • Stack down. Any card can be placed on a card one rank higher, whatever its suit. A 7 goes on any 8.
  • Only same-suit runs move together. A 9-8-7 of spades moves as one; a 9 of spades on an 8 of hearts does not.
  • Clear runs. When a column ends in a full King-to-Ace run of one suit, it lifts off the table. Clear 8 runs to win.
  • Deal a row. Stuck? Deal one card onto every column from the stock — there are five deals. Every column must hold at least one card before you can deal.
  • Empty columns are your most valuable asset: park a run there to dig out the cards underneath.
  • Tap a run to send it to the best column, or drag it. Undo is free and unlimited.

  • A game you forfeit pays 10 MPC plus 15 MPC for every run you cleared (up to 105 MPC for seven runs), and 10 pet XP.
  • Coin boosts and your active pet's happiness are applied on top.
  • Every game is replayed move-for-move on the server.

Plays and resuming

  • You get 3 games a day, reset at midnight MPT. VIP members get 2 extra.
  • A game counts the moment you deal. Spider games take a while, so leave whenever you like — the same game is waiting the next time you open the page, on any device, with the clock still running.

Trophy

Spider Solitaire's all-time record in The Trophy Case is the fastest 1 Suit win; a lower time takes The Golden Web. Two- and four-suit wins are recorded on your own page but do not compete for the trophy.

Pet Intelligence

Finishing a game earns your active pet +1 Intelligence, or +2 for a win. A quick forfeit does not count; play at least a few minutes and thirty moves. See Pet Intelligence.

Good habits

  1. Keep suits together where you can. Mixed-suit stacks are legal but they lock cards in; same-suit stacks move as one.
  2. Dig for an empty column early. The short columns on the right are the quickest to clear.
  3. Do not deal while a good move exists. Each deal buries every column under a new card.
  4. Use undo to peek. Turn a card, look, and undo if the move was a mistake — it costs nothing.
  5. Start at 1 suit. It is the best way to learn the rhythm before 2 and 4 suits.
