The Otter's Table is Sous the Otter's restaurant, next door to the Kitchen in MiroTown's Farmstead. Every day Sous puts three dishes on his menu and buys them from players who cooked them that day. He pays what the ingredients cost plus a profit, so cooking the menu is a real way to earn coins, not just a way to make pet food.

Where to find it

  • Direct link: /otters-table/
  • In MiroTown: the Farmstead, beside the Kitchen
  • From the Kitchen: the "Sous is buying today" banner at the top of the page

Today's menu

  • The menu has three dishes and changes every night at midnight MPT. Everyone sees the same menu.
  • There is one dish from each price range: a Quick Bite (ingredients under 400 MPC), a House Favorite (400 to 800 MPC) and a Chef's Showpiece (800 MPC and up).
  • At most one secret recipe is on the menu each day. If you haven't discovered it yet, the menu shows the dish and Sous's hint, but never the ingredients.
  • The Kitchen's Recipe of the Day is never on the menu.

Selling a dish

  1. Cook a menu dish in the Kitchen today.
  2. Open The Otter's Table and press Sell to Sous on that dish.
  3. The coins go straight to your balance.

The rules:

  • Sous buys one of each menu dish per player per day, so up to three sales a day.
  • He only buys dishes you cooked yourself today. A dish bought from another player, or one you cooked yesterday, won't sell.
  • The dish has to be free in your backpack. Copies listed in your shop or locked in a trade don't count.

How much Sous pays

Sous pays the full price of the dish's ingredients, plus a profit of 40% of that price, never less than 200 MPC and never more than 325 MPC per dish. Each menu card shows the exact payout and profit.

Selling all three dishes earns 600 to 975 MPC of profit a day on top of getting your ingredient money back.

Good habits

  • Check the menu before you cook. It is on the Kitchen page, so you can plan your 15 daily cooking attempts around it.
  • The Quick Bite is the cheapest to make and still pays at least 200 MPC profit, so it is a good first sale.
  • Cooking a menu dish still counts for everything else the Kitchen gives you: your first-cook bonus, pet XP and the chance of an extra portion. Keep the extra portion for your pets.
  • Discovering secret recipes pays off here too: when one is on the menu, players who know it can sell it.
