Bitey's
Take up to 4 pets out for a Wag Bag on the Games Boardwalk. Nuggets or burger, sized by age, a mystery toy in every bag, and a Playpen for the babies.
Bitey's is the fast-food joint on MiroTown's Games Boardwalk, run by Flip, a frog in a paper crew cap who has never once got an order wrong (his words). You bring your pets in, pick a table, and order each of them a Wag Bag: nuggets or a burger, with fries and a drink, and a mystery toy in every single bag. The catch is that every pet secretly prefers one meal over the other, and the only way to find out is to order.
Getting there
Bitey's has no menu link. The only door is the building itself: open MiroTown, head to the Games Boardwalk and walk your active pet up to the red storefront near the Park exit. That is the whole point of the place. It is somewhere you go, not somewhere you click.
Your table
- A table seats 4 pets. Your active pet sits down first and cannot be moved; pick up to 4-1 more from the rest of your family.
- Eggs cannot come. Pets that are away at the hotel, the park, on an expedition or at school cannot come either.
- Opening a new table closes the old one, and any untouched trays on it go in the bin.
- A table you walk away from closes itself after 24 hours.
Wag Bag sizes
The size is set by the pet, not by you:
- Small (250 MPC): every baby pet. Restores 40 hunger, 15 happiness and 10 health.
- Medium (400 MPC): adults under 90 days on MiroPets. Restores 65 hunger, 25 happiness and 15 health.
- Large (600 MPC): adults 90 days and older. Restores 90 hunger, 35 happiness and 20 health.
Every meal also gives the pet who eats it a little pet XP. Stats stop at 100, so a full pet gets less out of a big meal than a hungry one. The order screen shows each pet's current hunger so you can decide.
Nuggets or burger?
Every pet has a secret favourite: nuggets or burger. Until you know it, the order screen shows ??? and you have to guess.
- Guess right and the pet digs in. From then on Bitey's remembers, and the pet's page shows its order.
- Guess wrong and the pet pushes the tray away, telling you what it did want. You still learn its favourite, so a wrong guess only ever costs you one meal per pet.
- A rejected tray sits on the table. You can pass it to any tablemate who has not eaten yet. A pet whose favourite you already know will only take the right meal; a pet you have not figured out yet will try it, and you learn its favourite either way.
- A tray nobody eats is wasted when the table closes. The coins are gone. Flip does not do refunds.
Ordering the "wrong" meal on purpose so a tablemate can have it is completely legal, and sometimes the smart play.
Daily limits
- A pet can eat once every 20 hours. After that it shows as full in the pet picker.
- A pet can be ordered for at most 2 times every 20 hours: one guess and one reorder. Passing a tray to a pet does not count as ordering for it.
Mystery toys and the Toy Box
Every paid Wag Bag holds one toy from the current set, picked at random and dropped straight into your backpack when you order (even if the meal ends up wasted, the toy is yours). The current set is Snack Squad: 5 toys that exist nowhere else on MiroPets. They are not sold in any shop, and Snapper at the Swap Swamp will not buy them, but they are tradeable, so spare copies are exactly what other collectors want.
The Toy Box at the bottom of the page shows the set as 5 cards, counts how many of each you have earned from Bitey's, and shows how long the set has left. Sets rotate: when one leaves, a new one takes its place, and the old one moves to the archive. Collect every toy in a set and Flip sends you a mail with 500 MPC on the house, once per set.
Toys bought from other players do not count towards your Toy Box. Only bags you ordered do.
Bitey's Playpen
After the meal, baby pets who ate at your table can go in the Playpen for free, once per visit. They come out at 100 happiness with their stats dropping 50% slower for 1 hour. If the pet already has a stronger slow-down going (a Kitchen Well Fed dish, say), the stronger one wins and the clock is extended rather than stacked. Adults wait at the table. House rule.
Flip
Flip runs the counter, the drive-through headset and the Playpen gate, and has an opinion about everything. "Nuggets or burger? Don't overthink it."
