Story Time: Reading to Your Pets Now Pays Off Everywhere

Something quiet has been happening in MiroPets: about four in ten of you read a book to a pet every single day. Marlowe at the Little Library noticed, the puzzle games noticed, and now the whole site is leaning in. Here is everything new for readers and their pets.

Story Time, on the quest board

Two new daily quests join the rotation. Story Time asks you to read one book to any pet. Story Circle asks you to read to two or three different pets, and it counts pets, not books, so reading the same pet twice does not move it. Both pay coins like any daily quest, and both count reads that land past a pet's daily Intelligence cap, so a big reading day is never wasted. Find them on your Dashboard.

The free book, one tap from a pet

The Read to your pets card on Today in MiroPets now walks you through story time in two steps: claim the day's free book at the Little Library, then read it to a named pet that can still learn today. The Library's claim panel has a matching Read it to... button, so the free book turns into Intelligence in one more tap.

Intelligence finally does something

Until today a pet's Intelligence was a number and a title. Now the title pays. In the nine puzzle games (Pet Match, Gem Mine, Four in a Row, Aqua Maze, Potion Sort, Arcane Cipher, Word Worm, Solitaire and Spider Solitaire), your active pet's tier adds bonus coins to every payout: Bright +5%, Clever +10%, Brilliant +15%, Genius +20%. And a Genius pet unlocks a hint button, once per game, in Word Worm and Arcane Cipher. Check the Intelligence meter on any pet's page to see the perk it carries right now. The Reading Rally, for dens

Every den now has a weekly Reading Rally. Every book any member reads to a pet fills a shared goal on the den page, with nothing to donate and nothing to buy in. When the goal falls, every member who read to at least three different pets that week wins a rare book. The first rallies are already running, and a fresh goal arrives every Sunday.
