Snapshot Safari: Catch Every MiroPet on Film in the New Meadow Photo Game
Something is rustling at the edge of the meadow, and it is not going to wait around. Snapshot Safari is a new quick-play game in the Games Room: load a frame of film, watch one of five hiding spots, and press the shutter the instant the focus ring pulls tight around whoever pops out.
How it plays
- Five frames of film a day (VIP members get seven). Loading a frame spends it, so make each one count.
- A critter pops up from behind the bush, the hollow log, the boulder, the tall grass, or the tree stump. A focus ring breathes in and out around it: red is blurry, green is sharp.
- Snap on green. A Perfect shot pays 1.5x, Great 1x, Good 0.75x, and a Blurry one 0.25x. Dawdle too long and the critter wanders off.
- Later frames in a session breathe faster, and on frames four and five the critter hops between hiding spots. Let it settle before you snap.
The critters are MiroPets
Every creature that peeks out of the meadow is a real MiroPet, from everyday commons to the rarest legendaries. Rarer critters pay more, and each one you photograph goes in your Album at the bottom of the game page, grouped by species with your best shot. The first photo of any critter pays a bonus, and completing a whole species pays a bigger one. Retired and special pets you can no longer adopt are in there too, so the Album is the one place to see them up close.
Souvenirs at the shops
Two new items arrive with the game. The Safari Camera is a toy version of the game's own camera, sized for paws, at the Toy Chest. The Roll of Safari Film at the Corner Store reloads a full roll when you are out of frames, twice a day at most, and you can use it straight from the game page.
Streaks, boards, and a trophy
Shoot every day to build a streak: coins go up 5% a day to a maximum of 50%, and every seventh day your first frame is free. Finish all five frames and your session goes on the daily Best Photo Sessions board. The richest five-frame session of all time earns The Golden Lens in the Trophy Case.
