Scratch Three Chests, Take the Lot: Pirate's Plunder Is Open
Captain Cove has been busy. Not content with running the Treasure Trove, the one-eyed capybara has set up a second stand in the Games hub — and this one deals in treasure maps.
Pirate's Plunder is a scratch card, but not the friendly kind. A card costs 1,000 MPC, the map has ten spots along a dotted trail, and matching three of the same symbol wins the prize printed on it. Match three Treasure Chests and you do not win a prize at all. You win everything.
The Captain's Hoard
At the top of the Plunder page sits a number, and it only goes up. That is the Captain's Hoard — a single shared jackpot for the whole of MiroPets. It starts at 30,000 MPC, and every card anyone buys, anywhere, feeds another 100 MPC into it. Nobody wins for a week? The Hoard just keeps swelling.
When someone finally scratches three chests, they take the entire Hoard in one payout, Rigby announces it in Global Chat, and Captain Cove sends the winner a personal letter. Then the Hoard resets to 30,000 and starts growing again.
What a card can pay
- Pearl — 300 MPC, about 1 card in 4
- Doubloon — 800 MPC, 1 in 6
- Anchor — 1,500 MPC, 1 in 10
- Jolly Roger — 3,000 MPC, 1 in 20
- Galleon — 10,000 MPC, 1 in 63
- Treasure Chest — the whole Hoard, 1 in 250
Those odds are printed right on the page, because Cove runs an honest table. And an honest table cuts both ways: there is no consolation prize. A card with no match pays nothing, and four cards in ten pay nothing. This is a game for pirates with coin to burn, not a daily earner — the free Scratch & Win is still over there for that.
The scratching is the good part
Your card's fate is sealed the moment you buy it — the scratching is pure theatre, and the theatre is the point. Reveal two of a kind and both spots start to shimmer. Reveal two chests and the whole card catches light while you work up the nerve for the rest of the trail. In a hurry? There is a Scratch All button, though we are not sure why you would.
You can buy up to 10 cards a day (VIP members get 2 extra), your active pet earns XP on every win — up to 100 XP for a Hoard — and a daily Top Plunderers board tracks who dragged home the most treasure.
Where to play
The stand is open now at Pirate's Plunder, and the full rules are in the Wiki. The Hoard is already past its starting mark.
Bring coins. Leave rich. Probably the first one.
