Step Outside: The First Backyard Furniture Arrives in MiroHomes

Your Backyard finally has something to do. When rooms arrived last week, the Backyard gave your pets open sky and a lawn to run on, and not much else. Plenty of you carried armchairs and breakfast tables out onto the grass to fill it. Today the first furniture made for the outdoors is on the shelf at Homeward Hollow.

Lily Pad Pond

Harvest Scarecrow

Stone Fire Pit

A ring of round grey stones around a crackling log fire, with a marshmallow stick leaning on the rim. Made for cool autumn evenings in the backyard. Backyard only.

The Lily Pad Pond is the centrepiece: stones, lily pads, a pair of koi and a frog keeping watch from a rock. The Harvest Scarecrow arrives just in time for harvest season, crow and pumpkin included. And the Stone Fire Pit is for cool autumn evenings, marshmallow stick and all.

In any other room these three show a grey Backyard only tag in your furniture list, and Move to only offers the Backyard, so a scarecrow never ends up in your kitchen by mistake.

Backyard Doghouse

Picnic Blanket & Basket

The Backyard Doghouse is a real bed. It sleeps two pets and slows their stat decay by 20% while they rest, the same as the Oakwood Pet Bed. The Picnic Blanket & Basket works just like a fridge: stock it with up to 20 foods, and your pets (and your invited friends' pets) can snack straight from the basket.

One small fix

While we were furnishing test yards, we caught a bug: a pet you had never dragged could float up the wall, or into the sky, when you moved it to another room or brought it back from being tucked away. Pets now land on the floor every time, and every pet that was stuck up high has been put back on the ground.
