Thirty Opal Pets, One Way In

Opal is the fourth Legendary theme, joining Chrome, Gold and Stained Glass — and it looks like nothing else in the game. Every Opal pet is carved from a single milky gemstone, with pink, gold, green and blue fire glowing beneath the surface rather than painted on top. Dogs, dragons, koi, capybaras: all thirty species have one, and you can browse the whole set on the Explore Pets page.

Here is the catch. Opal pets never appear on the adoption shelves, there is no Opal vial, and no egg rotation will ever surface one. The only way an Opal pet enters MiroPets is by hatching from a Legendary Mystery Egg.

Crack One Open

Every Legendary Mystery Egg hatches a random Legendary pet — Chrome, Gold, Stained Glass or Opal, any species. Buy one and here is what happens:

1. Pay once, securely. Tap Buy Now in the Trove and checkout opens straight away — no cart. VIP members get their usual 25% off, so it is $2.99 for the crew.
2. Name it like any adoption. The moment payment clears, you name your egg exactly as you would at the Adoption Center: 3 to 16 characters, lowercase letters and numbers, yours for good.
3. Nest included. The egg comes with a 15-minute nest at no cost. If you own a Leafnest, Greenest or Rainest you can spend that instead for a faster hatch and an XP head start — but you never have to.
4. A free pet slot. Your pet limit goes up by one when you pay, so the egg never needs a slot you had to buy.

The egg sits in its nest on your My Pets page and hatches on the timer. Which Legendary was inside stays a mystery until the shell cracks — then you will get the news the same way you always do.

The First Fifteen Are Opal

To launch the new line properly, the first five Legendary Mystery Eggs sold were guaranteed to hatch Opal — and they were gone within ninety minutes of this story going to print. So Captain Cove has extended the launch bonus: the next ten eggs sold are guaranteed Opal as well, fifteen in all. The Trove shows how many of those are left. After that, every egg is a true roll of the Legendary dice — and Opal stays in the mix for good.
