The Griffin Trials Are Open

Two Griffins have taken up residence in MiroPets, and neither of them is the sharing kind.

Opal keeps a crystal grotto lit by rainbow light. Obsidian keeps a hollow of black glass and slow-burning ember. Each has fifty errands for anyone brave enough to serve them, and each has one egg to give away at the end of it.

How the Griffin Trials work

Visit Opal's Grotto or Obsidian's Hollow and ask for your level. The patron names a single item and starts a one-hour clock - long enough for the shops to restock once, so keep Findley close. Hand the item in and you climb a level and pocket coins. Nothing in stock? A Wanted listing at the Haggle Hut lets another player bring it to you. Then the patron rests for twelve hours before the next errand.

Fail an errand - let the hour run out, or give up - and you slip back down the ladder. One level near the bottom, two in the middle, three near the top. Your progress otherwise stays put: this is a climb, not a lottery.

Opal asks for gentle things: food, garden goods, books, nests, medicine. Obsidian asks for sharper ones: battle gear, potions, vials, toys and collectibles. Serve one, or serve both - each keeps its own ladder.

What waits on the way up

• Level 10: a plushie of your patron.
• Level 20: their Favor charm.
• Level 30: their pet card background.
• Level 40: a necklace carved from their stone - an opal feather or an obsidian talon - that your pet can wear from the Wardrobe.
• Level 50: a Legendary Mystery Egg of their theme. An Opal Legendary from Opal, an Obsidian Legendary from Obsidian, always one you do not already own, with a free pet slot to hatch it in.
