MiroTown Opens Its Gates

Extra! Extra! MiroPets has a town now — and you can walk it.

MiroTown is a new way to get around MiroPets. Instead of picking from a menu, you drop in with your active pet and stroll the streets: every shop, game and activity is a building, and walking up to its door takes you straight inside. The Gym is a gym with Coach Roary out front. Market Street is a row of storefronts with every NPC shop on it. The Boardwalk has the arcade, the race track, the bowling alley and the beach.

Getting around

• Tap anywhere and your pet walks there, finding its own way around buildings and trees.
• Drag to steer, push further to run. Pinch (or scroll) to zoom in and out.
• Walk onto the golden ring in front of a door and tap Enter.
• Roads lead out of each district past a signpost. The Town Map at the top lists every district and every door if you would rather jump straight there.

Ten districts

Town Square, Market Street, Traders' Square, the Games Boardwalk, the Pet Park (yes, the pets playing there right now are on the lawn), Campus, the Farmstead, Residential Lane, Finance Corner and The Wilds. Every mascot is at their post — tap Penny at the Bank, Rigby at the trailhead or Snapper at the swamp and they will have something to say.

You are not alone

Everyone walking the same district sees each other. Say hello with the chat box at the bottom — your pet says it in a speech bubble — or send a wave, a heart or a grin with the emote buttons. Tap another pet to see who it is. Town chat follows the same rules as Global Chat.
