Story Book III Begins: The Light Off the Map

The living map from Book II left one corner blank. This morning, that corner is not blank. A single pawprint sits in it, and it is still wet.

Story Book III, The Light Off the Map, opens today with Chapter 1, The Pawprint Nobody Drew. Professor Pawspell, Mira Mooncap, Nib and Bramblebeard follow a trail of tiny wet prints out of the Little Library, across Town Square and into a place the living map has never seen: MiroTown, which was built after the map was drawn. Whoever left the pawprint came from somewhere nobody has drawn yet.

How Book III works

• Eight chapters, releasing every Monday and Thursday at 10:00 AM MPT, with the finale on Monday, October 5.
• One task per chapter, and every one of them is free: no coins to spend, no items to give up, nothing to buy. Chapter 1 asks only that you visit MiroTown once.
• A story-exclusive collectible in every chapter, plus 300 to 600 MPC. The finale pays 1,000 MPC, a legendary collectible, an exclusive pet card background and a new Story Charm. Story collectibles are never sold anywhere else.
• You do not need to have finished Book I or Book II. Both stay readable and claimable in the Story Library.

Chapter 1: The Pawprint Nobody Drew

Read it now at Book III, then walk into MiroTown to finish the task and claim the Fountain Pawprint Cast, a plaster cast of the first wet print lifted from the cobbles beside the fountain.

Chapter 2 arrives Monday, September 14. Nib is already fairly sure he saw a light.
