Pack a Meal: Provisioned Expeditions Are Open
Rigby has new pins on the trailhead map. Three destinations opened this morning — Bramblewood Thicket (power ~130), Glimmerfen Marsh (~275), and Skyshard Isles (~500) — and none of them will let a pet through on coins alone. These are MiroPets' first provisioned expeditions: your explorer must carry a cooked meal, and they eat it on the way out.
The provisions are three brand-new published recipes at the Kitchen, each built on crops from the Garden: the Wanderer's Hotpot (two tomatoes and a cucumber in a pot), the Glimmercorn Trailbread (glimmer corn, sunberry, and flour — the first recipes ever to call for those two rare crops), and the blazing Sunfire Summit Feast (two phoenix peppers wrapped around a moonmelon). No shop sells any of them. If you want to reach these trailheads, you grow, you cook, you go.
Why bother? The three new destinations pay better than their power alone would earn, the trailhead meal feeds your pet on the spot — topping up the mood bonus that scales your haul — and each destination hides four brand-new Journal treasures, from the Foxfire Lantern of the Bramblewood to the Star Anchor of the Isles. Completing Skyshard's treasure page pays the biggest Journal reward on the map.
Skyshard Isles is now the summit of the expedition ladder: at a recommended power of ~500, it is aimed squarely at the strongest pets on MiroPets. If that number sounds far away, the Gym is open daily.
One more thing: this whole feature began life as a player idea on the Roadmap — a round of applause for briology, who proposed tying Expeditions to the Kitchen and the Garden so that crops and cooking would finally matter. That is exactly what got built (right down to the Glimmer Corn). Got an idea of your own? The Roadmap is listening.
