New Game: Loop Defense — the Velumi Take Up Arms!
The newest species in Miro has a new job. In Loop Defense, our first-ever tower defense game, the Velumi form a living wall around their most precious treasure — the radiant Gleam Bead — while waves of mischievous Gloom Wisps pour in through the tail-tip gap and creep around the great loop.
How it works: you start each run with a pouch of gold and 10 bead charges. Tap the pads around the loop to recruit Velumi defenders, upgrade them between waves (or mid-battle, if you dare wait), and hold the line as long as you can:
- Velucandy lobs sticky candy that slows wisps in their tracks
- Velocrome snipes with rapid-fire gleam darts
- Velobloom detonates dark bursts that blast whole clusters
- Glimmeroo never lifts a paw — it just mints gold at the end of every wave
A word of warning: the loop holds 15 waves, and the back three are the stuff of legend — swarming floods, walls of armored Bulwark Wisps, and a final stand against twin Wisp Monarchs. Very few defenders will ever see the far side of wave 15. If you do, the victory purse is fit for a hero.
Every run pays MPC for each wave you survive, your active pet earns XP cheering from the sidelines, and the day's best scores climb the Top Defenders board. The all-time crown, The Golden Gleam, now sits in The Trophy Case waiting for its first long-reigning champion — or its next challenger.
Think your setup can hold the loop? Play Loop Defense now — 5 runs a day, a couple extra for VIP members.
