Rockslide Quarry

Blast groups of matching boulders off the quarry wall — the bigger the group, the far bigger the score. Everyone digs the same walls each day. 3 runs a day, up to 250 MPC a run, with Blast Barrels, Crystal Veins and Bedrock from wall 3.

The quarry wall is a grid of colored boulders, 9 across and 11 high. Tap a group of 2 or more touching boulders of the same color to blast it out; everything above tumbles down, and columns slide in from the right. Bigger groups are worth far more than lots of small ones, so the whole game is reading the wall and setting up one enormous blast.

Everyone digs the same walls each day — the quarry resets at midnight MPT, and the day's walls are identical for every player.

Where to find it

How to play

  1. Tap a group of 2+ matching boulders — the whole blast lights up and shows what it is worth.
  2. Tap it again to blast. Gravity pulls the wall down, and empty columns close up.
  3. When no groups of 2+ remain, the wall is done. Finish with fewer than 8 boulders left and the next wall arrives with your score carried over; finish with 8 or more and the run ends. A run lasts at most 15 walls.
  4. You get 1 undo per wall — it takes back your last blast.

Walls 1 and 2 use four boulder colors; a fifth color joins from wall 3. Every color has its own carved marking, so the wall reads even if colors look alike to you.

Scoring

  • A group of n boulders scores n × (n − 2) points. A pair is worth 1 point; a 10-boulder blast is worth 80; a 20-boulder monster is worth 360.
  • Full clear: +100 points for emptying a wall completely.
  • Near clear: +25 points for finishing a wall with 1–7 boulders left.

Special boulders

From wall 3 onward, each wall may hold one kind of special:

  • Blast Barrel — any blast that touches it explodes everything around it, and barrels can chain into each other. Exploded boulders count into the same blast's size.
  • Crystal Vein — a boulder holding a crystal. Any blast that frees the crystal scores double.
  • Bedrock — dark blocks that never clear and never fall. They split the wall into awkward shapes, but they do not count against your end-of-wall remainder.

Runs and rewards

  • 3 runs a day, resetting at midnight MPT. VIP members get 2 extra runs.
  • A run is used when it starts. Leave mid-run and come back within 30 minutes to pick it up where you left off.
  • Coins: 1 MPC per 4 points, up to 250 MPC a run. Your active home pet earns XP with every run:
Run scoreResult · pet XP
0–99 pointsDust and pebbles · 10 XP
100–249 pointsGood digging · 15 XP
250–499 pointsSolid shift · 20 XP
500–799 pointsMaster blaster · 25 XP
800+ pointsLegendary blast · 30 XP
  • Playing every day builds a daily streak: +5% coins per consecutive day, up to +50%. Every 7th day is a milestone — that run is free and does not use one of your daily runs.
  • The Quarry Blaster daily quest counts a completed run.
  • Every blast is replayed move-for-move on the server, so the leaderboards stay honest.

Leaderboards

  • Today's Top Blasters ranks each player's best run score of the day. When Rockslide Quarry is the Featured Game, this is the board the Spotlight Prize Board pays out on.
  • The all-time best run holds The Golden Boulder on the GOAT Trophy Case.

Tips

  1. Blast small groups at the edges first to merge big colors into one giant group — patience beats greed.
  2. Work top-down where you can: blasts low on the wall reshuffle everything above them.
  3. Save the undo for the endgame, when one wrong blast can strand a color.
  4. A Crystal Vein doubles the whole blast — build the biggest group you can around it before freeing it.
  5. Near a barrel, even a small pair can set off a huge chain. Check the preview before you commit.
