The Capybaras Wade In: MiroPets Welcomes Its Thirtieth Species
The Calmest Arrival in MiroPets History
Most new species make an entrance. The Capybara simply appeared one morning, already lying down.
Meet the thirtieth species to join MiroPets — a round, unbothered riverside friend with small ears (two of them, we counted), a broad gentle face and an expression that suggests everything is going to be fine. The Goat arrived in July at a gallop; the Capybara has arrived at a saunter, and it has no intention of speeding up.
And as is now tradition, it did not come alone: there are thirty capybaras, one for every colour and theme in the game.
Thirty Ways to Relax
The everyday crowd covers Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, Yellow, Gray and White — that last one, Whimsibra, looking like a very content cloud.
The rarer sorts bring the weather with them: Cindypaw smoulders with fire, Icypaw drifts in frost, Stormyra rumbles quietly to itself, plus Ocean, Forest and Two-Tone. Capychef has the toque and apron, Capibro wears the full business suit with remarkable dignity, and Capywave — the sportiest of the bunch — turns up in a swim cap and goggles, because if there is one sport a capybara was born for, it is swimming.
The epics are where it gets properly strange. Cappystar carries a galaxy on its back. Ramblebar runs the full rainbow nose to tail. Nerdybara has the spectacles, CapnBara the pirate hat, Wizzybara the starry robe, and Merbark trades its back half for a shimmering fish tail — which, for an animal that already spends most of its day in the water, feels less like a costume and more like an upgrade. Candy, Dark, Shiny and the lovestruck Cuddlebar round out the set.
A Capybara Egg Every Hour Until 10 August
Here is the part worth setting an alarm for — or, in the capybara spirit, worth wandering past occasionally.
Until 10 August, at least one capybara egg is added to the Adoption Center every hour, on the hour — on top of the usual eggs. The board refreshes at the top of every hour, and the Adoption Center page has a countdown telling you exactly how long until the next egg drops and how long the featured week has left to run.
The usual caveat applies: the two legendaries, Chromyra the chrome and Capybear the golden, do not appear in the adoption rotation. Legendary eggs are found by other means, as ever.
Chill Out — No, That Is the Actual Ability
Do not mistake calm for helpless.
In the Pet Arena, every capybara comes with Chill Out — a wave of pure relaxation that washes over nearby opponents and slows everything caught in it to nearly half speed for a few seconds. Your rivals suddenly moving like they are wading through warm soup while you stroll away? That is the capybara way.
Over in Pet Dash, capybaras have the Lucky Drops knack: power-ups appear 25% more often while a capybara runs. Good things simply happen around them. Nobody knows why. The capybaras are not telling.
Go and Meet One
The eggs are dropping hourly at the Adoption Center until 10 August. Adopt one, hatch it, and enjoy sharing your home with the most relaxed creature in MiroPets.
Just do not expect it to hurry. It has never hurried. It is not about to start for you.
