Your pet does not have a maximum Pet Level. What you’re seeing at the Gym is a stat cap based on its current level.
Each Pet Level lets you train Attack, Defense, and HP 10 points higher. A Level 6 pet can train each stat to 60. A Level 10 pet can train each stat to 100.
The fastest way to level up is to combine XP boosters with items that grant XP:
1. Make the pet you want to level your active pet.
2. Use an XP booster on that pet first. You can use items like Xpresso, Stardust Pouch, Scholar’s Growth Tonic, Levelup, or Night Owl’s Reading Lamp.
3. While the boost is active, use your XP items on the same pet. Books, potions, toys, and other items that grant XP will get the bonus too.
4. Keep playing games and doing other activities before the boost runs out to get even more XP.
For example, if you use a 50% XP booster and then give your pet an item worth 500 XP, your pet will get 750 XP instead.
You can only have one XP boost active on a pet at a time, so use your strongest booster first and then go through the XP items you’ve been saving.

Once your pet reaches its next Pet Level, its Gym stat caps automatically increase and you can get back to training 👍
