Meet Snapper! The Swap Swamp Opens Its Doors to Rare-Item Hunters

Deep in the misty backwaters of MiroPets, a new shopkeeper has hung out his shingle — and he's unlike any merchant you've met. Say hello to Snapper the Alligator, the sharp-eyed dealer behind The Swap Swamp, a one-of-a-kind resale shop for the items no other shop carries.

Here's Snapper's pitch: some items in MiroPets simply can't be found on any shop shelf. Expedition treasures, seasonal keepsakes, long-lost rarities — if you're lucky enough to own one, it's been sitting in your backpack with nowhere to go. Until now.

Every day, Snapper posts a fresh wishlist of items that no NPC shop currently stocks. Bring him something from the list and he'll pay you well over its catalog price — no haggling required. It's the first time in MiroPets history you can turn a profit selling to a shopkeeper!

But the swamp giveth both ways. Everything Snapper buys goes straight onto his shelf, where any player can snap it up. That means those impossible-to-find collectibles and retired seasonal items finally have a way back into circulation. When it's gone, it's gone — until someone sells him another one.

A few tips from the dock:

  • Move fast. Wishlist slots have limited quantities, and the list resets every night. Each player can make a couple of sales per day, so everyone gets a shot.
  • Watch the shelf. Items that linger go on clearance after a week. Patient swamp-lurkers can score genuine bargains.
  • Use your Watchlist. Every item at the Swap Swamp has an Add to Watchlist button — Findley will send word the moment a wanted item lands on Snapper's shelf.

You'll find The Swap Swamp in the Items menu, on the Shops page, or by paddling straight to the swamp itself. Just mind the floorboards — and don't ask Snapper how he makes the math work. "Swamp economics," he says.

Got a rare item gathering dust? Snapper's waiting.
